Can't find this special screw used on many housings etc
Actually don't like using Torx bits because they are hard to center deep in the channel. I had misplaced these forcing me to order replacements.
My plan is to insert Torx bits before screwing in and using jb weld to secure the bit to the screw, giving me a hex head. Can't find this special screw with a hex head. This screw is called AGC-408 by craftsman.

This is a genuine Craftsman part for use with Craftsman Air Compressors. The compression ring creates an airtight seal between the cylinder and piston and helps facilitate heat transfer between the piston and cylinder wall. The compression ring on a piston head is a wear and tear item. It is, often, a cause of an air compressor failing to produce air. This part is sold individually. Unplug the air compressor and bleed air from the tank before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

These genuine OEM nuts come as a set of two and are essential components inside your portable air compressor. They play a crucial role in connecting the outlet tube to the pump assembly and the check valve. The pump is responsible for compressing air into the tank, while the check valve allows compressed air to enter the tank when open and maintains air pressure inside the tank when closed. You can determine if the nuts need replacement when they become loose or stripped, resulting in air leakage or an unstable connection. You may also notice excessive vibration or rattling from the compressor during operation, even when fully tightened. To replace the nuts, start by depressurizing the air tank by pulling the safety valve and draining any water from the tank by opening the drain valve. Remove the screws on the upper shroud to detach it from the compressor, following the instructions in your user manual to locate the nuts. You will typically need a socket or wrench to remove the pump assembly and lift it up from the machine. Fully loosen and remove the O-rings and nuts at both ends of the outlet tube. Please note that the nuts are sold separately from the O-rings.
