The thermistor on your home air conditioning unit monitors the room temperature. If you discover that your air conditioner is malfunctioning, or will not maintain a consistent temperature, you may have to replace the sensor. This part is black in color. The sensor is located in the interior of your air conditioner so you will need to open it up to access it. Make sure you disconnect the power source from the air conditioner before you begin this repair. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part is sold individually.

Unit condenser won't turn off
Took old part off and replaced after cleaning the coils but it didn't fix it .Now have to figure out what's next.
