Fridge is freezing food in the fresh food section. Changed out both temp sensors and still freezing. Will replacing the temp control board help the situation.Thanks

Thank you for the question. The first thing we recommend checking is the Air Inlet Cover Kit,PartSelect Number PS966602. Make sure the door is not stuck open and letting to much cold air through from the freezer to the fresh food side. If the part is defective the door might be stuck in the open position or here might be a frost build up holding it open.If the Air Inlet is fine, you can check for frost build up on the coils. It might be a defective Defrost Thermostat if there is a lot of build up.

The temperature controls are stuck on 5 for freezer and 9 for refrigerator. I cannot change them. Lock light is on. I tried to hold all down to reset, with no response.

Thank you for your question. If the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer sections are not working correctly, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the temperature sensor, the defrost thermostat, the electronic control board, the evaporator fan motor and the defrost heater. I hope this helps. I have no temperature display for both freezer and refrigerator screens , can not turn up or down blank.Yet freezer and refrigerator is working and turning on and off .Is this working of factory settings.Can we run this until we replace temperature display board
Hello Robert, thank you for your question. If you are unable to adjust the fridge and freezer temps, and the screens are blank and unplugging the unit for about 5 minutes doesn't reset the board, you will want to replace the INTERFACE CUSTOMER Assembly PartSelect Number PS760079. I hope this helps!

My GE refrigerator went totally dead after a power outage. We replaced the main control board that wasn’t the problem now we are being told to replace the temperature control board but I'm having trouble finding it?

Hi
My GE fridge went totally dead after a power outage and we have replaced the main control board with still no luck. Now we have been told to replace the temperature control board but we can’t find. Can you help? The model number of the fridge is gne25jskcfss. Do you need a number for the temp control board?
Hello Lisa, Thank you for your inquiry. The temperature control board in this model is actually part of the interface top assembly. If the refrigerator will not start, you may also want to check the run capacitor, the overload ptcr switch, and the power cord. Good luck with your repair.
