Double Oven -
Checked the ovens with a separate oven thermometer.
Bottom oven works fine - Thermometer agreed with oven setting.
Top oven not hot enough.
Thermometer read 280 when oven set at 350.
Thermometer read 350 when oven set at 450.
But oven 'beeps' to indicate it is at set temperature.
Is this a heating element problem or a thermostat/control panel problem?

Hello Fred, thank you for contacting us. The problem you mentioned is due to the faulty temperature sensor. We would recommend replacing the temperature sensor, part number PS236043, to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!

Hello Fred, thank you for getting in touch. We have attached some relevant instructions, which may not be of the exact same model but will help you while replacing the upper oven temperature sensor. In order to replace it, fully open the door and rotate until both door hinges lock back. Partially close the door, then lift and pull the door toward you to remove the door. Remove any racks that are in the way. Check if there is any plate securing the sensor to the rear panel. Un-thread the screws securing the temperature sensor to the rear panel. Pull the sensor wire through the hole in the rear panel until the wire connector is accessible. Disconnect the wire, make sure the wire does not slip through the hole behind the rear panel, and install the new temperature sensor by connecting the wire connector. Reassemble the unit. Good luck with this repair!

lower back element stopped working
I got the model number and ordered a replacement element from partselect, was shipped quickly and I installed it in about 30 minutes, it now works great

Oven stopped heating.....
Removed the oven racks....
Removed the two screws holding element in place...
Disconnected spade lug connectors from old heating element.
Connected spade lug connectors to new heating element.
Reinstalled screws.....replaced oven racks....mission acomplished!

The bake element stopped working.
First I cut off the power to the stove and double-checked to make sure no current was flowing to the unit. There were two screws attaching the bake element plate to the oven. I unscrewed the two screws and carefully pulled the bake element away from the oven exposing the contact wires. I carefully loosened the wire contacts from the bake

element, slid the bake element off the contacts and then slid the new bake element onto the wire contacts. I gently clamped the contacts onto the bake element, pushed the wires back into the back of the oven and screwed back the bake element plate onto the interior of the oven. I turned on the power to test my work and I was done.
