What do i do if part # ps 3497500 is not available is there a new part #
For model number GI6FDRXXY07
Hello Don, thank you for your question. Since that part has been discontinued, the whole icemaker would have to be replaced which is PartSelect Number PS11769140. I hope this helps.

The middle track for the drawers brook off any parts to replace it?

Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.

t's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!

The poorly designed deli drawer lid tab broke off
Removed the fruit & veggie drawers & the deli (pantry) drawer. Took out the 3 screws, removed the attached parts, put them on the replacement part, reattached it and put the drawers back in.
