Burning Rubber and Metal on Metal Sound

Rubber belt was getting shredded. I replaced the motor and motor pulley (because the are one piece), but the metal on metal sound was still there. I then did some research and found out the water pump pulley could be the issue. I took it out and felt the grinding. Decided to try and tighten the screws on it, but the sounds was still there. Ordered the water pump and it was so simple to replace. (talking with my Maytag store this would have cost me over $400 to fix. With PartsSelect.com the total cost was $225.
