Timer on the washing machine wasn't working properly. Just spinning around not catching to set wash cycle
I found Partselect and searched for what I needed. Wasn't quite sure I had the right timer, so I called and gave them the model number and they did a search and found the right one. I ordered the part online and a few days later the parts were delivered to me. The timer fit right in and looked just like the origninal. Within 30 mins. washer was back in service.
Another washer we have on the property wasn't agitating correctly. After taking off the agitator ( by pulling straight up from the bottom ) I found that the coggs on the agitator hub were all worn out. I removed the center screw from the shaft and pulled the old hub off. Installed the new one ordered from Partselect and washwer was back up and running in no time.

removed control knob and dial with compression ring from front panel using 1/4in. nut driver removed 3 screws from rear of panel again using nut driver removed old washer timer unplugged wiring harness and reversed assembly took about 8 min.

Gear teeth stripped out on both timer knob & timer.
Super EZ repair. The replacement parts were spot on perfect. I removed 3 screws, slid the panel off, removed a wiring harness, the reversed the procedure. I used a set of needle nose pliers to slip the locking ring on the knob, and Bob's your uncle, all done.

Knob and timer di not work
remove back screws to control panel. unplug timer. pull bad timer out. snap new timer in plug in connector. reattach screws to control panel. put knob on timer

The control knob plastic gear was stripped
took the needle nose pliers and removed the timer knob clip from the back of the control knob. Removed the control knob and the dial with compression ring. Installed the new dial compression ring and pushed the control knob on. Note: the new control knob comes with the clip allready on the back of the control knob. Took me about 3 minutes to replace.

It appears the machine came with the wrong washer control knob.
I damaged the timer gears trying to figure out the washer control knob. I ordered all necessary parts. It now appears the knob that came on the machine had different gear hobs than the timer. I replaced the timer. The dial then easily slipped on. Then the control knob with the clip attached pushed on to the timer. I had an extra timer knob clip. It was just 93cents so I may need it later. It works better now than it did new.

Dial spins too freely
The grooves on the bottom of the control knob were worn away. I just pushed the timer knob clip off of the underside of the knob, removed it from the washer and put the new knob on and put the clip back on. It was a piece of cake!

Spinning control knob
I watched the video, used a needle nosed pliers to pull the clip off the knob and just pushed the new knob and clip on.

Plastic teeth on the old knob wore out, poor design.
Removed the old knob and installed the new one. Probably will need replacement again in another 3 years..

The setting knob was broken and wouldn't engage
There is nothing to tell really. Took the setting knob off, put the new knob on. That was it, took all of five minutes.

The control knob teeth broke-could not move it easily
we took off the old control knob-pulls off-then replaced the plastic clip and popped it back on-now the teeth can move the knob to start the washer

Teeth on the dial with ring broke/stripped
Used a bent paper clip to hook/remove the old plastic Timer Knob Clip, pulled off Control Knob and Dial. The dial was ok but was afraid it may have been stripped also.I then replaced them and used needle nose pliers to replace Timer Knob Clip. I always order extra clips because they are cheap and have learned a long time ago nothing ALWAYS goes perfectly and it was cheap plastic and sure as you know what I would have broken it and had to order another. Now I have a spare!

Control knob would not select function desired
REMOVED RETAINING CLIP FOR KNOB AND REMOVED KNOB. INSTALLED NEW KNOB AND CLIP. THATS IT, EVERYTHING WORKS AS REQIRED.
