I have a spill that went between the glass panes of the door. Can I get between the panes? Or do I need to replace the entire door?
For model number JB705ED1ES
Hello Elaine,
Thanks for your question. Yes, the inner parts of the door glass can be cleaned. Unplug the oven. Wear work gloves, as you will need to remove the door and unlock the hinges. Have a second person help you remove the door and set it, handle-down, onto a secure area with a soft cushion such as a towel. In a medium-sized container mix warm water and dish soap to make a cleaning solution. Wrap a dish cloth around the end of a yardstick, securing it with a rubber band. Insert it into the solution, then into the opening at the bottom of the door. Do not force it between the glass, and be cautious. Wet any stains and let the solution soak 2-3 minutes. Then use a wet cloth on the end of the yardstick to clean out the soap. Afterwards, use a dry-lint free cloth on the yardstick to dry out the oven door and finally replace the oven door with the help of a second person.
I hope this helps.
