The repair went pretty smoothly after I reviewed the video posted with the part. Although I had already dia assembled the part before I had placed my order, the video gave some useful tips. I am very happy with the product and customer service.

Refirerator and freezer not holding temperature
I have very close clearance to a facing island counter, so I removed the door handles using a small allen wrench. I moved the unit out from the cabentry and removed the six or so screws holding on the cover plate for the main circuit board. I labeled the several pin connectors to the board, and used pliers to gently remove them from the old board. The instructions that came with the replacement board discussed cutting wires depending on my specific unit, but it was clear I did not need to do that. I replaced the circuit board and replaced the cover plate. For good measure I vacuumed the dust from the heat exchanger. The repair worked very well as the unit cooled down from a freezer/refigerator temp of 14/40 to -1/35 in a matter of a few hours.

Auger motor wouldn't stop running.
Removed control panel. Snapped out pretty easily. Removed flapper assembly (4 small screws). Replaced micro switch by prying it away from its holder (unsnaps easily). Disconnected the two wires leading to the micro switch and connected them to the new microswitch and reinstalled switch in reverse order. Cost of switch, approximately $13 including shipping. Saved a ton of money doing it myself.

Solenoid and screws rust until the solenoid will not function and the assembly flapper will not close.
Removed all parts necessary, solenoid, recess retainer, dispencer door recess crank, and assembly flapper. Hardest part was getting old highly rusted screws out so I could remove the necessary parts. I replaced all screws with stainless steal screws, so the next time they will come out easier. This is the second time i've had to replace the solenoid because of rusty solenoid plunger, very poor design, not to mention the couple times i've taken the solenoid out to clean off the rust, but eventually its stops working because of the excessive rust on the plunger.

ice dispenser chute kept freezing with condensation
The flapper on the ice chute was curled up and not creating a good seat, so the chute kept clogging up with frozen condensation, especially during the humid summer months. The online video made it so easy to replace the part myself. I was able to fix the problem in under 15 minutes and at a fraction of the price!

Ice Maker stopped working
Took out one hex screw, disconnect electric couplings, pulled original ice maker out and found that the water supply line to the ice maker was frozen solid as well as the shute cup. Used hair dryer to thaw out the line and the cup reinstaled old ice maker and it worked fine. Did not have to use the new part at all at this time. Am keeping new part for future use.

Turns out replacing the part was not needed. Still did not work. Opened freezer and hit inside of door with hairdryer to thaw out frozen water line. Wish I would have done that first. Water works fine now.
