Always make sure to wash small loads and spread the clothes evenly throughout your washer as you load it. The causes of your washer not draining could be a clogged drain hose, a broken pump, timer, or belt. You can test the pump with a multimeter. Touch a probe to each of the terminals on the pump. The reading should be between 5 ohms to 10 ohms. A reading of zero or infinity, means the pump requires replacement. Part number PS12723115. Inspect your belt for signs of stretching or wear.
