My washer is dripping water out the outlet of the washer when it is turned off
For model number GTW220ACK1WW

Hi Willie, thank you for your question. You may need to take a look at your hose to see if there is anything blocking it so that the water does not drain out completely and you have that leaking. You may also need to take a look at your drain pump for potentially being the issue. Good luck with you repair.

Washer won't fill correctly
For model number GTW220ACK1WW
PartSelect logo
Hi Quincy, thank you for your question. If your appliance is not filling with water there are two parts to check. You should take a look at your water inlet valve. If that part is fine then you may have to take a look at your door lock. Good luck with your repair.

Hi Rose, thank you for reaching out. According to our research and considering the symptoms you mentioned, the issue seems to be with the control board, part number PS16874148. A faulty or stuck relay on the control board might be causing the washer to start by itself and not turn off. Checking the control board for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!

Will the lid switch cause the washing machine not to have power at all? I have no lights showing on my dash of my washing machine.
For model number GTW220ACK1WW

Hello Jeremy, Thank you for the question. The Lid Switch would prevent the cycle from starting but the appliance would still have power. We suggest testing the Start Capacitor. If it shows to have continuity, you may have a defective User Interface Board. We hope this helps!

Would not drain the water from the tub.
Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
