I have a wash machine that is a year old that partially fills up and will not complete the cycle. What could this possibly be?

Hi JoAnn,
Thank you for your question. If your washer is only partially filling with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. First, you will need to check the filter screens. They stop particles from coming into the washer. They can be found on the water inlet valve and on the hoses. If they are clogged, this can prevent the washer from filling properly. If they are clogged, you can clean them, but if they are damaged you will need to replace either the water inlet valve or the hoses as the screens are usually sold with them. Check the hoses to make sure they are connected correctly and that there is no damage or corrosion on them. If the screens and hoses are fine you may have a malfunctioning water inlet valve, water level pressure switch and hose, electronic control board, or lid switch. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!

The clothes washer( model # is above) is only a year old and making a metal to metal rubbing noise during the washing cycle. What could that be. I thought it could be the tub bearing but according to the schematic . it doesn't have one.

Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
