Ice Dispenser Not Working
The repair was quite simple after getting the new control board. First unplug the refrigerator. Second, remove the rubber push pad, it has a plastic pin on each corner and it will pull off by catching the sides with your finger nail, if you don't have finger nail long enough you could use a table knife or something simular. Third, on the underside of the cover there are two little slots that you can stick a steak knife tip in to release the cover. Forth, remove the 4 screws (one in each corner) that holds the control board in place. Fifth, unplug the two control wire plugs, they just pull out. Sixth, remove the two switch extensions, they are what you move side to side, they just pull off. Seventh, there are two screws that holds the cover on which holds the control board in place, then remove the cover and remove the control board. Eighth, replace the control board and the cover with the screws. Plug the two control wires back in, making sure that you have the pins lined up with the connector. Put the switch extensions back on, they just push on. Next put the unit back in place and secure with the 4 screws that hold it in place. Replace the cover by just putting it in place and snapping it in. Now reinstall the rubber push pad by aligning the pins and pushing it in place. Plug the refrigerator back in and you are ready to go. All of this took me about 15 minutes to do.

Ice dispenser had a transistor failure on the control board
The solenoid in the dispenser was overheated due to the control board failure. After I rerplaced the board I found the heat had distorted the plastic crank and jammed the solenoid action. The plastic crank was easy to replace. Now after expending approx. $75 everything works normally!

No Ice...
Super easy, had my 15 year old do it (with my supervision).
Followed very clear Instructions that come with the replacement...
But, he could not get to the plug location until he removed 4 screws holding the motor assembly that spins the ice in the drawer and moved it out of the way...
Followed the rest of the instructions...
Works like a charm.

water was dripping from this valve
I removed the valve from the fridge with a nut driver, this allowed me to disconnect the two lines and the water main inlet. Re attach the main line and cut off ends of both plastic lines with a razor knife and re insert the two lines. Last was to connect the main water inlet and tighten . The last thing was to turn on the water and check for leaks and we had none so put the fridge back in its proper place and job done. Thank you for your help Michael

Broken ice maker replacement
Installing the actual ice maker was quite easy. What takes most of the time is preparing the freezer for the install. Need to remove all shelving, (and the door) to gain access to the unit. The ice maker is simple to install once access is achieved. Putting everything back together takes some time.

Ice maker not making ice
I'm a real novice at appliance repair but learned a lot from this effort. After doing enough online research and watching videos, I diagnosed the problem with my 20 year old ice maker. It was working, just not getting water. So I ordered a new water valve, much cheaper than the part Sears recommended. I easily hooked up the new valve but the old copper water supply line was leaking so I ordered a $7 pex line from Home Depot. Hooked it all back up and now I'm in business, and saved some money too!

The flapper on the freezer was warped and allowed humidity to create frost in the freezer.
I watched the how to video and followed the instructions. The entire repair took less than 4 minutes. Hardest thing was disconnecting the control panel.
