Water Leak in Dishwasher Drain Line
I woke up on Christmas Day to water pooling under the kitchen sink (I guess I made the naughty list last year). Upon inspection, I could see that the water connections for the faucet were damp. Since I had all the parts, I replaced the faucet and service lines. Once complete, there were no leaks so I turned on the dishwasher to double check for leaks in those lines. It was all dry when the dishwasher finished but the next morning, more water under the sink.
I proceeded to replace the water line to the dishwasher and ran it through another wash cycle. Still leaking.
I found PartsSelect online and order a new drain line for the dishwasher. To my amazement, FedEx dropped off my order the next morning........yes, the next morning.
It took five minutes to remove the old drain line and install the new one (just a worm clamp at each end). It would have been faster than that but I don't get up and down as fast as I use to.

Dishwasher rack rusted
I took out the old dishwasher rack, slid in the new one. Nothing else was done and my spouse thought I had built her the Taj Mahal. Many repairs are nothing but cosmetic; the hard part is finding the model number and getting it ordered.

Upper & lower racks coating deteriorating leaving rust stains.
Lower rack was simple R&R. It was about 1" lower height than original but I suppose it fits multiple apps. Upper rack removed from slide rails with clips removed with fingernails. The funnel & spray arm came off by hand but the old rack had rusted under the snap-on clips on the funnel mount base causing stretching & a loose fit on new rack. I drilled a 1/8" hole in the base & used a small plastic zip-tie to secure the base to the rack. Problem solved. No other tools needed besides the drill & it took longer to go to garage to use it than all else combined. Still about a 10 minute task. Under 1 beer in red-neck repair time.

Inlet valve wasn't letting water in
Turned off water and power! Couldn't move dishwasher out, so access was a little problem. Worked to disconnect inlet hose. Finally unscrewed the whole unit, disconnected the outlet hose and the power connection and then unscrewed the unit from the inlet hose. Removed the ell from old unit, applied Teflon tape, and screwed it into new unit. (Tighten it really well. I didn't and had to take things apart again!) Installed new unit starting with the inlet tube, then the outlet tube then the frame screws. Turned water and power back on and tested the dishwasher. SUCCESS! My wife thinks I'm a hero.

No water getting inside the dishwasher, making a loud squeeling noise.
I'm a girl and it was pretty simple. I pulled out the dishwasher, removed the bottom plate cover. Removed the water line to the inlet valve and made sure the water was getting to the valve (it was). Removed the electical connector from the valve. Removed the valve and installed the new one. Made sure the water was pumping into the dishwaser. Pushed the dishwasher back into place. Runs great.

Vinyl coating of dishwasher racks were deteriorating and slight rust was beginning to appear.
The best advice I can give is to watch the repair videos; they are very well done and demonstrate exactly what to do. I played them a couple of times (particularly for the upper rack) and the replacement was exactly as described...very easy. The "close up" shots were very helpful.
