Dishwasher won't Drain
Disconnect the water supply line and drain line. Pull the dishwasher out and turn it face down to access the pump. I used a shop-vac to get most of the residual water out first but it still leaks some on the floor. Replacing the pump is a no-brainer, but the two week old water that poured out when I opened it up was the foulest stuff I've ever smelled.

The Springs on my dishwasher door broke
(1) I turned the power to the dishwasher off at the panel. (2) I unscrewed the brackets that holds the dishwasher in place. Most likely, there will be two of them, and they attach to the underside of the counter. Mark around the brackets with a pencil so you'll know exactly where to position the dishwasher. Make sure you turn them the correct direction because you can damage your countertop. (3) Take the plate off the bottom of the dishwaser then I slid the dishwasher forward about 12inches, and that exposed the hinges on the door, and the holes on the brace that supports the feet. (4) I removed the old spring and linkage that were sitting on the floor under the unit (5) I attached the spring linkage on each side of the door. (6) On each side, I connected the spring in the holes on the brace that supports the feet, and then I hooked the other end of the spring on the linkage. Make sure that your connect the long side of the spring on the linkage. (7) You may have to try the spring in different holes on the brace that supports the feet because some of them will make the door too bouncy. (8) Once you have a good location for the spring and linkage, slide the dishwasher back in place, and screw it in. Hope that helps. Stevie

Broken door latch. Door wouldn't stay close and dishwasher would not turn on.
I went on Youtube to see what needed to be done to fix the problem and it seemed simple. I ordered the part and followed the instructions from Youtube: Turned of the electric to the dishwasher, removed a few screws to take the top panel off, a few more screws to remove the broken part. Slipped on the new part and screwed it in. Replaced the top front panel and screwed it on. DONE! It was so easy! Saved a lot of money. I am a Grandma 9 times and a Great-Grandma 2 times. If I can do it, you can too!

Dishwasher would not drain.
The actual pump replacement was simple. The problem I had was getting the water drained because of the way the unit was installed, drain hose went through the floor before going back up into the sink drain. Anyway, the repair of the unit was simple just all the other stuff was a pain.
