Fortunately I was able to use the machine while my part was being sent, by manually making my selection with the outer dial, When I found my part that I needed to purchase, I watched the video for repair. It showed me how easy it was to change out the part and have my machine back in proper working order. This is the second time I have been able to use this website to repair an appliance.

Pulled off front cover of machine. Unplugged unit. Used a channel lock (water pump pliers) to squeeze the hose clamp on the suction hose. Pulled hose off of pump suction. Did same for discharge hose. Some standing water came out onto floor of unit. Unscrewed 2 screws from base using nut driver. Pulled the 2 wires off of the stabs of pump. Re-installed new pump in reverse order. Unit back on line in 15 minutes, and works fine.

I took the two screws out that was holding the bracket and hose in place. I then pulled the hose out and then had a little bit of a hard time taking off the bracket (it was plastic and felt if I bent it to hard it would break) wiggling it down to the end of the hose. Re inserted the hose attached bracket, and I was done.
It would have cost me a lot more then $20.00 to have a repair man come in and fix it.
Love the service, delivered in two days.
Will use them again.

I checked the motor,it was bad I was pulling to 20 amps too much. The washer was still not working and the motor was bad so I checked the lid switch for continuity. The switch was a magnet type so with the lid down you should have continuity. In other words, a closed circuit. When the lid is opened, you should have a open circuit, Which would show no continuity. An open circuit means a break in the circuit. To change hinge bushings, raise lid, remove the screws on the outside of the lid, remove hinge, remove lid, insert new hinge bushings, place hinge through lid into bushings, and then put the screws back into the lid. If you followed these steps you should be done.

Changing the belt didn't solve anything. We took the console apart and there is a Troubleshooting Guide folded up in there. It has a Code List and a sequence to follow to determine the trouble codes. While there was nothing wrong as far as coding, it did lead us to confirm the discharge pump WAS working, even though there was no water coming out. The discharge hose was plugged.

Removed 3? sheet metal screws from back of washer head board and t sheet metal screw from timer. And reversed the procedures

Couldn't get the agitator off by pulling up, then thought about it and got 2 carpenter claw hammers, inserted one on each side and puled up evenly on both and off she came. Sprayed the slots with WD Forty and popped the new on. THANKS saved us a lot of money!!!

The belt is very tight. Use a zip tie to old the belt on as you work it around the large pulley. Once it is on remove zip tie and turn the pulley enough times to line up the belt evenly then your done.

Just pull up on the knob and remove the clip with needle nose pliars. Remove the knob, remove the dial and now install the new dial, the new knob and the replacement clip. The new knob comes with a new clip as well.

Watched your video which showed how to replace it and it only took a minute or two. Replacement part cost less than the shipping cost but well worth it as it arrived the next day!

I watched your awesome video that showed me exactly what I needed and how to fix it. Fix took about 2 minutes maybe. Part was easy to locate on your website.

Basically the dryer would not turn on, after finding your site putting in the model number and description of my problem, I was able to trouble shoot and pretty fast I was able to determine the knob which controls the heat setting and time was cracked. I ordered the part and received it in a couple of days removed the old cracked knob and installed the new one no actual tools needed.

Remove three screws take of knob remove valve take off hose then reverse to install

Once the part came in, I noticed that the new one sent to me was missing a circular piece (has arrow) attached to the knob (has line that lines up with arrow. No problem - I snapped the circular part from the old one and super glued it to the new knob and slid it on the post. So easy, even I did it.
