dryer was getting power but would not start. No lights at all on the control board.
Removed toe cover on the front of dryer. Repair video shows removal on back panel but on this model the thermal fuse is in the front. Removed lint screen and cover over lint collection area. Replaced thermal fuse which sits just behind that cover. Involves only 1 screw and 2 wires. Very easy replacement.

Drier Would Not Come On
First I found your web site and described my problem. Wow the information I found led me to diagnosis the thermal fuse. I checked the resistance across the fuse, after removing the back panel. And sure enough the fuse was open. I ordered the parts and they showed up in two days. Installed the fuse and reinstalled the panel. Plug ed it in and it worked. Thanks parts select I'll will be sure to recommend you to my friends. Again thank you

Motor would run briefly then stop, then totally quit
Repair was simple, minus pulling the drive motor shaft out of the back fan. The female end of the dryer fan was made of plastic, so the socket wrench cracked the plastic end. Other than that, the repair was simple and easy to do. Much better paying the $88 for a new motor vice paying $400 or more for a new dryer. Dryer has run like a champ since replacing.

Dryer not heating
Turn off natural gas and unplug dryer. Remove the front cover of the dryer below the dryer door by removing 3 screws with a nut driver. Locate thermal fuse and use socket wrench to remove screw. Remove thermal fuse and disconnect wires. Attach wires to new thermal fuse and replace. Reattach everything and plug back in. Simple.

Dryer would not start, only making a humming noise
I checked the motor to make sure it turned freely but it didn't so I knew it was bad, your online instructions made it so easy for me to make the motor replacement, if I ever need any appliance parts ever again .....you can bet I'm buying them from you. I purchased the motor for about 40% less then what it was retailed locally.

dryer would not heat
At first I was skeptical that something so inexpensive as a thermal fuse was needed for this repair. The part came in 2 days and I could not wait to tackle this repair. It took 30 minutes but most of that time was spend removing and replacing the back of the dryer. I was so happy and proud that I saved the expense of a repairman that my husband insisted I get since he is helpless and not even interested in do-it-yourself repairs.

Dryer would not start
Without any manual or schematic diagram available, I was ready to go out and buy a new dryer. I decided to google the symptoms and came upon the answer from Part Select suggesting the thermal fuse (46%) would fix my problem. With the diagram supplied for parts locations I located the thermal fuse, took the two wires off of the fuse and shorted them together and walla, the dryer started. Amazing as that was, I ordered the part Monday morning from Part Select and it was here on Tuesday. Thank you Part Select for saving me time, (my wife was on my back) and money. Yours truly - from PA Rock Stauffer

Googled the issue, ordered the part, installed the part
The information I found indicated that the Thermal Fuse had likely failed on my gas clothes dryer. The dryer was not heating up. I ordered the part, it arrived the next day but I was out of town. On Saturday I pulled out the washing machine, unplugged the dryer, spun the dryer around and removed the back plate. One screw to remove the Thermal Fuse, transfer the two wires and screw the neww Thermal Fuse into place. Plugged in the dryer and tested. Fired right up.. Unplugged the dryer, install back plate and put all appliances back in place. Less than 30 mins and only cost $17.

dryer would not start or run
Using my old volt/ohm meter and following the wiring diagram pasted inside the control panel,I was able to find the open circuit reading across the thermal fuse [ no reset]located down below and before the wires disappeared below the drum towards the motor. Once I found that,I jumped the circuit and it ran fine. I removed the part and found this site, ordered the piece and had it in 3 days. Install was perfectly simple....vacuuming out the accumulated lint took the longest amount of time, and the dryer continues to work as always.... I hope I don't have any more issues with our appliances, but if I do and I can figure out the problem again,I would use this company again ! Fair price, shipping might've been less, but I fixed it for less than 18.00 total... not bad !
