My washer has been stopping after rinse and not switching to drain/soon and won’t finish out the wash. I did some research and thought to change the control board... well i did that and it’s doing the same thing. so now i just wasted money on a new control board and my washer is still stoping at the same spot. i checked all the hoses they are clear, the belt is solid nothing wrong with it i’m not sure what to do now.

Hi Nadine,
Thank you for your question. If your washer is not draining, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drain pump, the agitator directional cogs, the clutch assembly, the shift actuator and the lid latch assembly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

loud noise while spinning
For model number WTW 4800XQ0
Hi Harold, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, our suggestion would be to confirm that the washer is level. If the washer is level, then make sure that the load is balanced inside the tub. If there are light and heavy items in the same load, the tub will spin out of balance and become noisy. If the load is also balanced, then you may need to check the drive belt, part number PS11747978. Over time, the drive belt can dry out or burn out and start to crack. Eventually, a piece of the belt can break off, causing the belt to make a loud noise whenever the motor is running. and you may need to replace this part. We hope this helps!
Agitator moves in only one direction (counterclockwise) as opposed to a back & forth motion. If i manually stop the agitation, it will shift to moving in the opposite direction. (clockwise)
this results in a spinning motion creating a Whirlpool effect inside the tub, wrapping clothes around the agitator.
what part do i need to fix this issue?
For model number WTW4800XQ
Hello Dennis,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest replacing the agitator directional cogs under part PS388034 for your model to fix the issue. Hope this helps!
