We reviewed the video posted on your site for guidance. It was very helpful to see someone do the repair. The project went just as described in the video. Within 24 hours I had a full bin of ice!

What would have been a simple job I made hard by pulling the water hose out of its place that was the hardest part about putting the ice dispenser back in, it took me about thirty minutes to put it back I !

The website said 60% of people with same refrigerator problem solved the problem with a new fan kit. I received the fan kit within 3 days of ordering. Was shipped from Fresno, CA to Long Beach, WA. The fan kit was to be installed behind rear panel in the freezer compartment. When I removed the old fan motor, I noticed the shaft turned harder than the new fan motor, suggesting a problem with the old fan motor. I plugged in the obvious fan motor power bundle with no problem. The instructions and diagram with the kit nearly steered me wrong. Instructions, diagram and splices with the kit instructed to cut the "extra" wire bundle and splice "similar" wires (should have said same color wires). Luckily, I ignored those instructions when I remembered the U-Tube video depicted the extra wire bundle was to be inserted into a factory penetration in the back panel, facing the freezer compartment. This power bundle is for adding an ice maker, which my refrigerator did not have. When reassembled and the refrigerator restarted, I could immediately feel forced air in the refrig, where there was no flow before fixing. I observed that all the refrig and freezer dials do is act like a valve to increase or decrease air flow to the compartments. The dials have no mechanical or electrical connections, just designed to divert air flow from across the cold 'evaporator' fins. I recommend other consumers to remember carefully what they see in the video and watch again if stumped during the job. The video was better than the instructions which may have been written in China or India. I am happy. Repair was a lot cheaper than a new refrigerator and I would not have bought another Frigidaire. followed the video and had little or no trouble loosening or tightening bolts or phillips head screws. The only difficulty was removing the spacer on the door itself. Otherwise a piece of cake. Good video and easy to follow instructions.

We watched the video you had available. WOW! We had been frightened away by a repair man. Anyway, we pried the broken supports off, and then pounded the posts into the wall where they dropped down out of sight. We placed the new supports in and put the drawers back in. Viola! Done! Took less than 10 minutes! Thank you!

Watched the Parts Select video associated with this part. Very easy repair. Removed the right-hand door, removed the broken hinge, popped in the new part, applied some lubrication and put the door back on. Lengthiest part was removing food items from the door in preparation for the job. Highly recommend watching the video first as it shows you exactly what to do and how easy this job is.

Removed the door,pried out broken pieces.Replaced with new bearing{bushing}Lubricated bearing with light grease and replaced door.Took about 15 minutes by myself.

I can fix just about anything, but when I'm approaching to fix an item that I have previously no experience with I always do some research before attempting a repair. Once I diagnosed the problem (The evaporator fan was not kicking on), I purchased both the thermostat and fan because either one of them could be the source as to why the refrigerator was not working. Unless you want to drink room temperature milk for three to four more days, I highly recommend that you replace both. After cleaning out the freezer and removing the pull out bucket, I removed the screws and pulled out the metal enclosure. The fan was easy to take out along with the thermostat. The time consuming part of the repair was splicing the old wiring harness with the new thermostat and condenser fan since the replacement condenser fan had a different wiring harness. I had to heat sink the butt splice connectors and I wrapped all the wires in a cold weather electric tape. After that I plugged the refrigerator right in and to my delight it worked :) I love this website because it is very user friendly accompanied with fast and efficient shipping. Thanks again!

Very easy repair. Remove 2 screws, unplug wire harness. My model used the included harness adapter. I needed to secure the extra harness length with the included cable ties. Icemaker went back in smoothly with no problems. Making ice like crazy now.

I watched your video on how to do the procedure and followed it, step-by-step. It worked like a charm. When I took the crisper drawer and runner out of the refrigerator, I noticed that the lower drawer support had broken as well. So, I have ordered 4 to have a few on hand and will repeat the process when my new order arrives. I'm very pleased! Thank you very much.

The defrost thermostat kit is located in the freezer side of the refrigertor. I turned off the electrical breaker for the refrigerator. I began the project by removing all the frozen food on the lower half of the freezer. I removed the racks and 3 rails on both sides using a cordless drill with a 1/4" socket and located panel. The panel had 4 1/4" screws holding it to the back of the freezer. I removed all screws and the panel came out easy. I located the defrost thermostat and with some wire cutters, I cut the wires. I connected the the new defrost thermostat with wire connectors and reattached it to the copper tube I removed it from. I put the panel back on along with the side rails and racks.. This project was very easy.

take 1/4 hex screws out clean out dust ,remove old fan blade replace with new install bolts .

I followed the instructional video and it went well except the piece in the door did not pop out easily and broke into other fragments. I had to use a needle-nose pliers to remove them from the cavity in the door.
