WM30460B Jenn-Air Microwave Oven Combo - Instructions

First, DISCONNECT POWER or you can turn your panel into an arc welder. After that removed four screws that hold front panel in place and 2 screws that hold the display in place. disconnect ribbon cable and two other cables. Reverse operation for assembly.

For the self cleaning problem, replace door lock switch by pulling forward, use needle nose to remove & replace connector. Push into place. Very easy. Total 10 minutes for both jobs

Removed 8 screws and replaced the part (also did a good cleaning while we were in there)! Easy breezy!!!

The part came right away!
Removed six screws from above door, than pull knobs off and remove four screws that were under knobs.
Front panel pulls off. Remove display and put back together.
Peice of cake.
Wish all my projects were that easy!

Popped it in and now we have a well lighted control panel AND a night light for the kitchen. Just wish Jen air would design a longer lasting part!!!

After throwing the breaker. The repair consisted of removing the screws that held the control panel "housing" together. I think it was seven screws. I then disconnected the three electrical connections. The "ribbon" connection seamed delicate so I was careful. the control assembly is then loose. I removed the clock control panel with a nut driver (four screws). The installation process was just a reverse of what I have already described. It really was a piece of cake.

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

The door came off easily after I removed the two hinge covers that are attached to the oven. Taking the door off can be done with one person but ideally two.

The new parts fit in perfectly and the hinge pin used for shipping comes out easiest with a pair or wire cutters (you do not cut it just grab it and pull).

After that, re-assemble the door and drop in place. It was a snap.

FYI...the shipping was ultra fast and the price was great.

No issues whatsover with the entire process.

removed screws to remove front panel. two screws removed to remove malfunctioning electronic panel. Inserted three plugs, one was a flat tape plug. checked to see if secure. remounted the new unit. replaced front panel.

After reading instructions by others, I zipped through this repair. Four screws for the trim, two screws in the clock, disconnect the cords and tape, then reassemble.

Removed two screws, unplugged the old unit, plugged in the new, screwed the new in. Job done. Would have been less than five minutes if I hadn't kept dropping the screws.

Received part in less than 2 days after ordering. Turn off oven power. Removed 7 screws from control panel. Unplugged 3 electrical connectors. Removed panel, R & R the clock assembly. Reconnected the 3 electrical connectors. Replaced control panel with 7 screws. Turn power ON, everything worked fine and was easy to do.

Husband got on partselect.com and read reviews, we ordered a long oven sensor kit. When it came in the mail, I took it out and look at it, decided I could probably switch the part.... and so I did. Easy Breezy ... and it worked well

very easy, 4 screws to remove front panel and 4 screw to remove the clock asssemby, 3 eclectrical plug in cords and your done. My 3 yr old could have done it.

My husband did the repair in about 15 minutes using the instructions from other people on this site that had don the same repair. We were quoted $500 by a repair man but this site was recommended by a friend and I was easily able to find the part needed and it shipped promptly. I am very happy to have my clock working again.
