Unplugged stove. Quickly unscrewed back panel (4 screws). Popped the wires off one at a time attaching them to the new switch. Pulled the knob off the front, unscrewed screws, and put new switch in repeating previous steps in reverse. Put the panel back on, plugged it up, and pushed it back into place. Done.

Bake element went out & Large Burner would not cut off

Drawer would not stay level or move easily
The drawer dropped down and would not easily open or shut or fit up good when closed. A quick inspection showed that one of the rear drawer guides was broken. The parts were ordered on a weekend and they showed up on Tuesday. We already had the pots and pans out of the drawer. It took about 10 minutes to put in the new guides (I replaced the one not broken also), clean and lubricate the drawer slides. Good as new. The repair video, although not necessary for this repair, was excellent. Thanks a bunch!

No heat to large coil; erratic heat with clicking noise to small coil
I followed the Parts Select Video that showed replacing an identical switch. Mine were another brand & style with different color wires. I took a picture of 1 to keep track of the wiring and removed it. I saw that the terminals were marked P, H1, H2, L1, & L2 so I put the wire from the same terminal onto the Parts Select switches & they work just fine now. The parts I got from you are heavier and a much better quality than the original equipment. I would also like to say that I was amazed at how fast this order was shipped, and the washer pump was a piece of cake thanks to your video.

the baking element had separated (burnt out)
No directions come with the parts. I used a nut driver to unhook the connections on each side. The wire was connected with a male/female small connection ( they were inside the back of the oven. I pulled each one out and had to pry them loose with a screw driver. I attached each wire and used the nutdriver to tighten them. It was easier doing the repair than writing this explanation. I am not a handy man...

Element cracked and not working
Using the video instructions, I had no problems with the installation. I was so proud of what I had done and the possible money I had saved that I told everyone I know. Thanks so much for your web site. As a matter of fact I found your site while looking for possible repair costs and your ad caught my eye. I am a 81 year old female, so if I can do it anyone can.

My bottom baking element burned into.
The repair was easy. Would have been super easy if a piece of the old element had not broken off in the slot. The directions that I received were perfect. The oven was fixed within 45 minutes. No repairman needed - very inexpensive fix. By ordering this part and following the directions it was a quick and cheap fix. Thank you for having my part and sending instructions with it. Gas Oven Overheating
Removed cover on back of range (four screws held it in place), removed screws holding the oven sensor in place, pulled out oven sensor and disconnected the snap-like connection, tested with ohm reader (was below 1000 and 1100), ordered new part (came next day), inserted the sensor, screwed it back in, snapped the connectors together, replaced cover on back of stove. Very easy.

Bake element burnt out
I watched the repair video that came with my recipt for my order. When my bake element arrived I unplugged the stove. I then followed the instructions in the video by unscrewing the old element and removing the wires. I then hooked up the wires to the new element, pushed it into place and attached the screws. Plugged in the stove and turned on the over to preheat. Worked like brand new. PartSelect save me so much money and time. I love this site!
