WDB11NRDS3 Westinghouse Dishwasher - Instructions

I viewed a very short video on how to replace the lower gasket on the website which was extremely useful. I then ordered the part via standard shipping and it arrived very quickly. I used the flat head screwdriver to gently loosen the old gasket which has mineral buildup on it and was stuck into place. Sliding the new one in was a snap. This was one of the best sites as you could search for the part by describing the problem. I would definitely use it again!

R&R the tub gasket and the door gasket. Repair not effective, it still leaks.

Ordered a bottom gasket and replaced it. Started dishwasher and had same leak. Found out that the lower spray arm had a hole in it from the heating element and was spraying water directly at lower part of door. Replaced lower spray arm, problem solved!!

Took bottom panel off dishwasher -- used stubby screwdriver to remove bracket from old thermostat, intalled and connected new thermostat, replaced bracket -- easy. Parts schematic on website made locating and replacing part very simple.

Pulled out bottom gasket, inserted new gasket. Max about 5 min. Pulled out tub gasket,cut new gasket to match old gasket and pressed into tub.Max about 10 min. Spent more time putting kick plate back on.

It was easier than I expected! After unscrewing some screws, we took the outside panel off and then took the cover off of the electrical panel,disconnected some wires, unscrewed the handle, reattached it all and we were done! The hardest part was getting the outside panel back on and in place to replace the screws. It took about 10min to do the whole thing, took longer only because of the large outside panel. The new handle is so nice! Our old handle was getting so hard to open, now it's so smooth to open. Very happy with this site and will definitely use again if ever needed! I ordered the part on a Thur. afternoon and got it Tues. afternoon.

The bottom gasket slid straight out, after which I cleaned the slot a bit, and the new gasket slid in perfectly. The tub gasket pulled out by hand, and again, after wiping down the groove, I easily fit the new gasket around the tub and trimmed a few inches from one end. There is no longer a problem with leaks, and I think the door closes a bit more securely as well.

1) Shut down power to dishwasher at circuit breaker. 2) Remove front panel from bottom of dishwasher. 3) Remove two screws on valve mount to allow for more room to work. 4) Remove electric connections on heating element. 5) Remove terminal nuts on heating element. 6) Open dishwasher and remove lower dish rack. 7) Remove heating element by pulling up and removing element from the clips. 8) Insert new heating element. 9) Perform the above steps in reverse order, from 7) to 1).

The hose goes from the water inlet solinoid to the side of the dishwasher.Remove the kick plate from the bottom front of the dishwasher. Disconnect the water supply to the inlet of the solinoid valve (copper tubing on mine). Remove the screws under the counter top which hold the dishwasher in place. slide the dishwasher out from under the cabinet only as far as needed to expose the hose(about 1 foot). The hose is behind the insulation. Remove the hose clamps from both ends of the hose(solinoid outlet and side of dishwasher)Remove hose carefully because this is all plastic. Install replacement hose and clamps. The new hose is several inches too short and will not fit into the upper hose guide, just bend it underneath. Be sure to put hose in lower keeper on side of dishwasher. Attach clamps, tape insulation back in place, slide dishwasher back under counter and install screws under counter. Attach copper tubing to water inlet solinoid valve. Run dishwasher and check for leaks. Replace kick plate. Note: I had enough loose electrical wire to slide my dishwasher out. If you don't have enough wire to slide out the dishwasher you should call a repair man.

Ordered a new one.

Instructions link was sent with the invoice that were dead on. The instructions and video were so comprehensive that any elementry school age child could perform the repair like a pro. Good Job Part Select!!!!!

removed water from bottom of dishwssher.removed old parts .losson three screws covering pump and removed trash from it.installed new parts make sure that the sray arm is locked on nut.

I was ready to just buy a new dishwasher, I was sure that this leaking (flooding) was serious and I didn't want to pay a repairman big $$ to tell me I needed a new machine...So, I found this website and the "Instant repairman" suggested these parts and I saw reviews from other customers who did it, and I decided it was worth a try well anyway the repair was so simple and for one part there was even a video...The machine does not leak anymore and I am thrilled. For the Bottom Gasket just watch the video and the Tub gasket I only needed a screwdriver and siscors...just pull the old one out and put the new one in starting on one side and pushing in to the gap as you go, trim the other end as needed.

shut off the water to unit, un screwed unit from counter top, pulled out, disconnted part, replaced part, reversed what i did done. excellent timing
