Motor has 3 places to bolt on one was broken
Took back plate out by removeing the four screws in the back. The three screws that fanstened the motor in where al.ready gone. The most important thing is the piece on the end of the motor is left hand threads! This must be screwed off in one motion. My motor was bad so I sawed it off and found out when I got my new stuff. The bottom line is I let being cheap costing me more than it should. I had already put three of the plastic pieces in the back and it finally tore up the motor and caused a lot of problems that were uncalled for. I will say one thing Partselect is the best place that I've found to buy parts and get honest information from,I've got no problems with them so far.

Coke can exploded when dropped and some got on the switch making it stick in off positionmaking thehe switch stik
Pried the switch on the bottom with a flathead screwdriver, twisted it and the switch came out far enough to take it out by hand. The bottom of the switch has to be raised upward a little because the connectors are on top of the switch. Changed the wires from the old switch to the new one, one at a time. Insert the new switch. Saved a repair call, and probably a more expensive switch. Less then 15 minutes.

Frost in ice dispensor
Had to take front panel off dispenser area. Then remove components and install new part. That was easy part. Problem was getting components back into front of freezer. Seemed like something was blocking it from going all the way in. Had to remove small amount of insulation and "jiggle" components and eventually fell into place.

ice flapper would not close
The first thing I did before starting the repair was watch the 2 videos. I followed the directions step by step and within an hour I had a functioning ice maker again. I had searched all over the web and the other sites were of no help. Your site really made it easy to figure out the problem and order the right parts. I now have a problem with my dishwasher so I will be back on your site soon. Thanks!

Light Switch stopped working
Used screw driver to lightly remove the old switch. Disconnected the 2 electrical leads to the old switch, then I connected those leads to the new switch. The light immediately came back on and I placed the switch into its housing hole and popped it in place. It works perfectly now. My wife said "let there be light"! Very easy installation. Thanks.

Freezer kept "icing up" because flapper door would not close.
Video and instructions were very thorough, but on my paticular freezer, the inside door shelves had to be removed (30 screws) to get to the face place to release the door controls. Newer models can be accessed from the front. After removing front cover, repairs were very simple. Found that the solenoid was "rusted" and would not function. Easy replacement. Order new flapper, but was not needed (have a spare now...haha). When putting back together, the door did not seal at top...had to adjust how I tightened screws (pattern - top to bottom) to keep door from "warping". Did not think that the small amount of torque on the screws could "warp" a door so easily. After re-torqueing the screws, moved the top hinge just a little and door again sealed correctly. Will keep this site "bookmarked" for all my future appliance needs. Never had customer service so thorough. Amazing that I order about 5:00 pm on a Thursday and parts were at my door just after lunch on Friday...amazing service. Thanks for the instructions, video and CS.
