Watched the video. Followed the steps exactly. Great tool.

The tutioral video was very very helpful. It was great in showing step by step procedure. It was close up in showing part and how to install it. After watching the video and seeing how simple it was, we proceded to order the part and do it ourself instead of paying someone $$ to do it for us. Took only 15 minutes to replace.

I replaced the front door seal by grabbing the edge with pliers and pulling it out. The new seal goes on easily by slipping the groove of the seal into the edge of the door. I also replaced the washer arm bearing and seal. The bearing was quite worn out so it was probably a good idea to do it. The bearing and seal require no tools, just unscrew the arm and replace the seal and bearing. Had been thinking about replacing this washer but working fine again.

Removing the screws holding the door cover was no problem. I had difficulty removing the door cover, it did not slide off easily. It finally came loose. I removed the 6 bracket screws holding the dispenser, 3 on bottom, 3 on top, depressed tabs and soap dispenser came out easy. Snapped the new dispenser in place. When putting it back together I failed to remember how the top bracket fitted. It took me a while but finally got it. I wasted at least a half hour trying to figure it out. Putting the rest of it back together went well. The dishwasher dispenser is working fine, most importantly no leaks.

Piece of cake. Thanks for the video. The replacement part looked very different from the original, thought I got the wrong part, but the video set me straight. Just clipped it in and screwed in the arm assembly.

Replaced the lower seal, drain impeller,chopper blade, and wash impeller. Problem is still not solved but the inner parts have been replaced. Only thing logical next is the check valve. Unit cycles well and if I turn the dial to just before the rinse cycle and watch, I do see water draining from the unit...Of course while replacing these parts, I checked other things and found a loose spring behind the front cover. It can be seen on the diagram as it is part of the detergent door mechanism (or so I believe), but it is not clear on where the spring actually connects to.

I watched the tutorial video and installed the part myself in 5 minutes. I was so proud of myself and thrilled that I saved $100 that I would have paid to an appliance repairman. Thank you so much PartSelect for a great price for the part and the video which was easy to follow.

I followed the video instructions: Removed the upper basket keepers using a small flat screwdriver, removed the basket and turned it upside down, removed the phillips head screw from under the basket and discarded the old parts. Installed the updated new parts and reinstalled the basket. The bottom spray arm seals were r&r with no tools. Removed the bottom basket, removed the thumb nut, R&R the bushings, installed a new thumb nut and replaced the basket. The only problem I had was not expecting to have so much slack, or looseness after the repair. I did not wiggle things ahead of time, but I did after the repair. I was expecting a snug fit with a freely turning spray arm. What I found was a lot of wobble and I guess its okay, seems to be working alright. Thanks, Jim Watkins.

My dishwasher was leaking out of the front, bottom of the door, when
it was in the was/rinse cycle. Upon investigating by removing the
spinning wash arm in the bottom, I found that a couple screws had
fallen out of the pump housing. There was also a gasket sticking out
in front , facing the door. I'm guessing the water would be forced out
in the direction of the door and squirt out from under the door. On my
model of Kitchen Aid, there is no seal at the bottom of the door.

I took the pump housing apart to find the lost screws underneath. I
also found another gasket sticking out of place. When I went to put it
all back together, The gaskets had been so stretched out of shape, I
couldn't get them back in place. I looked up and ordered new gaskets
from PartSelect.com. The parts were in stock when I placed the order,
but when they arrived, the main gasket that I needed was backordered.

I decided to reassemble the pump body by cutting the old gasket/seals
so that they would fit back into place. I positioned the cut towards
the back so that if it would leak, at least it would spray water away
from the door. It works fine now and the back ordered gasket/seal
finally arrived, but I put them in the package under the sink to
replace them at a later date as I've moved onto other projects now and
don't feel like opening it all up again now.

Replaced parts. Had to reorder support bracket and screw since screws were very difficult to unscrew and reuse. The Phillips Head slots were very poor and could not be used to unscrew and reattach parts. Thes two screws should be redesigned to make them more easily removed and reattached.

Remove retainer nut, remove arm, remove worn bushing, replace arm, new bushing and retainer.

Watched the Part Select video on installation, which was very informative. Followed their directions and it was an easy 10 minute installation. I ordered the part kit and actually received it the next day... amazing! The kit cost $35. including shipping. Sears wanted $80. for the exact same parts. Would highly recommend Part Select. Will use again when I need appliance parts.

I am 69 year old grandma and this was the easiest repair I ever made. I was going to buy a new dishwasher, but my son looked up the parts. They came and Idid the repair.

Examination of the bearing ring revealed that it was extremely worn, and its replacement did not require any tools as it is held by a plastic nut with a large handle for manual operation - so the replacement takes literally 15 seconds, and the machine is now as quiet as it was when new
