Refridgerator not cooling, freezer frosting over
First, I had to remove the freezer drawer front. This is 8 large phillips head screws. then remove the plastic cover over the drawer slides. to do this, remove the white center screw from the slide near where it attaches to the drawer front. then the plastic cover will slide off pushing to the rear of the slide. take off the slides from the freezer walls by removing the phillips screws and pulling them towards you. They have tabs/slots in the rear. remove the center tray support and support bars, too. the icemaker has to come out, that is just 2 phillips screws but you also have to disconnect the electrical connector. just squeeze the locking wings and rock/pull. a screw in the top center of the back panel comes out. Lift and pull the back panel out. The evaporator coil appears. The thermocouple is attached to the coil in the upper right. Cut that one's wires and take it out. Just cut back about an inch from the back of the thermocouple, there is not much slack. Seperate and strip the wires back about 3/8 inch. Do the same for the new thermocouple. I twisted the wires together and used a solder sleeve to join the wires. The sleeve is just a little plastic tube that has a ring of solder in it that melts with heat gun heat. You can join the wires using butt connectors or whatever method appeals to you. I just wound the extra wire and put a cable tie around it, there is plenty of hiding space in that area. Make sure the new thermocouple is contacting the coil firmly. At this point, for a test, I left everything apart, propped the drawer against the opening and plugged the fridge in. Note that the evaporator fan will not start spinning immediately! It will just sit there making little bumps like it wants to go. The temp in the coil has to get settled before the electronics in the refridge will tell the fan to spin. It takes maybe 20 minutes. Reassemble. Fridge and freezer work great. It does take several hours for all to get cold again.

The ice maker would not dispense the ice
I watched the installation video that described everything that needed to be done to install the part. It was helpful to know the the fork was installed with a left handed thread. I had to use a pipe wrench to break the grip of the fork to the shaft. It would not budge with a screw driver that was detailed in the video. The old motor had gotten water surrounding it and had ice frozen around it. This may have led to the motor failure, and I am not sure how the water leaked in around the motor. I assume the water came from the flow into the body of the ice maker.

broken ice bucket auger
I followed the instructions on the youtube video supplied with the shipping confirmation email. At 3:06 on the video, the repairman states, "next we have to depress a tab on each side at the top". This comment leads you to believe the tabs actually "depress". They do NOT! The tabs on my ice bucket are solid protrusions on the side of the front assembly. You must work the sides of the ice bucket away from them without bracking the bucket. "It's fairly snug in there" is a gross understatement!! Once I managed to remove the assembly, without breaking anything, the rest of the disassembly and reassembly was a breeze.

Ice dispenser stopped working. No sound made when pressing the switch to dispense ice.
It was simple just applied some common sense to trouble shoot and remove the motor from the housing in the back of the freezer. Then reverse the order when replacing. The part arrived in 1.5 days from when I placed the order. Joshua

Ice cubes were falling out of dispenser door
Upon inspection I discovered the Dispenser Crusher Cover was broken which allowed the ice to bypass the normal route. I went to your website and found a customer's testimony regarding a similar problem. It was titled "Noticed pieces of broken plastic in my ice cubes." I ordered a new Dispenser Crusher Cover, ran a copy of the testimony and waited for the part which came in within three days. I followed the instructions in the testimony and the problem was corrected in less than 30 minutes.

No water to door but ice maker works.
Just as described in earlier reviews, this was the filter housing unit and not the double water valve. To determine which part is failing bypass the water filter unit by disconnecting both water lines and connecting the fresh water line directly to the water valve. If this solves the problem, then you know for sure the filter housing is the problem. The filter housing has a very small tab that pushes open a rubber flap valve when a filter is installed. This allow you to remove the filter without turning off the water supply. Apparently only a very small amount of wear prevents the flap valve from opening fully and allowing water to flow. A small amount of water flow may be evident with the water dispenser but the ice maker will keep working until flow is completely interrupted. Easy fix.
