Refrigerator was not getting cold, but freezer was.
My son took a plastic panel off the top front of the refrigerator. He found what looked like a four by four mother board type part. After looking at it he seen there was a part on it that definetly looked burnt.I got on the internet and did a search and found your site. I took a shot in the dark that this was what was wrong, looked up the part and ordered it. I had the part in two days. He installed it and BINGO, the refrigerator now works fine. Thank-you for all of your help and fastness on the delivery of the part! :) AWESOME!!!!!!!

Not making ice
I watched the video about how to repair the ice maker and saw that it was super easy. I ordered the part and it only took two days to come in. Installation was super easy to do. The hardest part was getting the wiring harness to lay back so every thing would slide in. It took about 30 minutes total to get the old one out and the new one in. The video helped greatly. It started making ice within 10 minutes of turning it back on. I'll order from you again when I need parts.

Ice maker stopped working
April 2012
My ice maker (2001 Whirlpool Gold side by side) stopped making ice. Using the model number (inside fridge, right wall), Google found the partselect website containing diagrams of the entire refrigerator. Using the "freezer liner" and "ice maker" diagrams, I discovered that electronic control boards, control and motor assembly, and water inlet valves could cause the ice maker to stop making ice. Since the LED lamps in the freezer liner were not working (diagnosis described as part of the emitter control board description), I replaced the emitter control boards first. After installation, the lights worked properly, according to the diagnosis, but still no ice. It seemed logical to next replace the control and motor assembly. About two hours after installation, the ice maker produced cubes, and has been working since. Each of the two parts orders from PartSupply came within 3 days, and were the correct parts for my machine. Installation illustrations were accurate and helpful

Ice maker not working
Ordered the part recommended by your site, followed the instructions of the associated video and new ice is piling up right now. My only concern was no action for a time right after the install. Turns out the temperature of the freezer must drop back down to ?? before the ice maker starts to work. I was thinking maybe the electrical connection was not good. I choose to wait a night and see if change would occur. Freezer cooled down and ice maker started.

Refrigerator Door Not Closing
All you need is nut driver. Top hinge has 3 screws. Once you remove the screws, lift door. It is light. I place door of my sofa. I removed screws and pried the cam insert with a spatula. You can also you flat screwdriver. I also replace the other piece located at bottom of refrigerator. Now place door back onto metal rest. May need someone near floor to guide you. Once on the rest, close door and replace top screws. Forgot to mention that I emptied door shelves before removing door.

Refrigerator Door wont close
Followed the Partselect instructions - removed door, removed old cam and replaced with new cam. One lesson learned. There are two cams - one that sits on hinge below door and one that is up inside bottom of door. If you are replacing one, replace them both.

stopped producing ice
Exactly as shown in the video; had a bit of trouble with the wiring harness, but all else went smoothly. If it were not for the explicit video installation instruction, it could not have been done by a do-it-yourself guy with tools. I had ice again in 3 hours! PartSelect is the absolute best when it comes to diagnosing, ordering and installing the part(s).

Ice Maker stopped making Ice.
Opened freezer section of refergerator and taped Ice Maker cover door in the open position to remove emitter and receiver boards. Unscrewed the phillips head screws that secure the emitter board housing to the refrigerator side wall. Turned off power to the refrigerator and unpluged the emitter, removed the 2 screws that hold the emitter board against the housing and removed it, then I installed the new emitter board in the housing by screwing it in place. Repeated same process for removal and replacement of the receiver board. The whole process took me about 10 minuets.

No water coming into ice maker
It was so simple, one screw to take the ice maker out and four screws for the motor. I ordered the motor because in your web site it suggested that 46% of the times its the motor the problem, I guess you could now say 47%. Got the part within 3 days. It was a pleasure doing business with your company. I recommended highly to everyone. Your web site was a lot of help.

Ice maker stopped dispensing ice
I discovered the coupler was broken, so I went online to search for a repair. I found the part number for the coupler and washer. I used the short online video that shows step by step how to fix it. It was very easy and now the ice maker dispenses ice again! I researched Sears and your site, and your site with shipping was less expense than Sears. I called Sears and they didn't have the part in stock anywhere close to where I live to pick up, so with their price and shipping, your site was just a couple dollars cheaper. I receive the part very quickly after ordering.
