Valve failed and washer overflowed.
Immediately shut off water supply to the washer. After ordering and receipt ot part: Removed base panel, turned off power, disconnected wire, water supply line and screws attaching washer to kitchen counter. Pulled the washer out and turned it on its side with the valve on top. Power Outage, detergent door wouldn't close, would keep cycling.
Briefly, after a power outage...detergent door wouldn't close, and when washer was started would cycle over and over without stopping. Thought control module & door motor were at fault. As it turned out, due to the variable power changes the control module wouldn't reset properly and kept cycling. I opened the washer and removed the inner liner, re-positioned the door arm on the motor, re-assembled liner and closed. Plugged unit in and put door lock in locked position..which activates unit. Heard detergent door motor resetting, and the control module reset properly to normal-heated dry position. The fact is that knowledge of the operating procedures could save hundreds in parts and repairs by trouble shooting the system before ordering parts.

Upper rack in dishwasher rusted through; wheel off
The hard part is removing the end caps on the rails. By the time I did that, I had broken one, and the rail was out of its guides. To fix the rail, needed screwdriver to remove two guide wheels, then replace them. Glued broken cap; that failed. Now I've ordered new caps; after that, it should be a breeze. MY ADVISE: order new caps when you order the rack. They're only $ .61, and you'll save both delay and a second shipping cost.

Water Inlet Filter
Before you due anything else...remove the water inlet valve, remove the 4 screws holding the water inlet coupling to the valve housing, remove the nylon filter (tight fit), and clean the debris from the filter. Re insert the filter, reassemble the valve housing and check for leaks. Clears most water flow problems.
