dishwasher leaking
very simple. I unscrewed the plastic surface of the dishwasher door, took out the old foam pad and put in the new one. It stopped the leak. A very inexpensive and very simple way to fix the problem.

Detergent cup would not open
This dishwasher is made by Whirlpool. It is sold under several brand names. My initial information came from this site. Throw the breaker to off. Use a #2 Phillips to out the screws that hold the door liner on. Carefully lift out plastic liner Use a table knife to pry and have an assistant to help you turn liner around and set a kettle or other weight on the door to hold it open. Wiggle the soap cup latch so you can tell which wax motor controls the latch. It looks just like the Jet Dry wax motor. The latch motor is higher in the door. You can tell which is which by monkeying with it a bit. Use this opportunity to clean all the food debris and soap scum off the door liner while it is off. Un-clip the two wire connectors and note which is which. Un-clip the brown wax motor. If you have a multitester, measure resistance across the two male spade terminals. If it has either infinite resistance or no resistance, it is dead. If it has something (resistance) in between, it is probably not your problem. If it tests okay or you don't have a tester, clean the soap scum off the contacts (on both wax motors and harness, put it all back together and cycle DW to see if cup lid opens. If it doesn't open, the problem is probably the wax motor. Order the new motor. When you have it, take the door apart again and install the new motor. Cycle the DW and if the soap cup opens, the motor was the culprit and you fixed it. It is a very easy and inexpensive fix. partselect.com is great!

Dishwasher won't turn on when door closed
I was told by you that 99% of the problem like mine was caused by a faulty door handle switch. I looked at my switches and found one side to be slightly burned. I ordered the correct part, thanks to your instructions on where to find the model number. I got the part the very next day, turned off the electricity to the dishwasher and replaced the part in 30 minutes. This saved me over $250 to have an appliance man come and do the repair. I called two repair places and each wanted a minimum of $250. My wife was really pleased with my repair job. Thank you for all your help. The dishwasher works perfectly.

Lower Spray Arm was broken
The repair was very simple, just unscrewing the plate and putting the new one on and screwing it back down. But the part that was exceptional was the shipping from Parks Select. I ordered on Friday and got it Saturday, which meant no washing dishes for me over the weekend. I was completely thrilled and will use Parts Select for any parts I need in the future. Highly recommend them.

Dishwasher had begun to leak around lower part of door
Removed the old door gasket by pinching it and slowly pulling it out of its track. Used a small headed bristle brush to clean any remaining rubber particles from the old gasket to insure a clean track. Carefully placed the new gasket in place starting at the left bottom corner and working around the track to the bottom right corner. Perfect fit . . . no leaks.

Leakage from the front of the door
Using the information from this site on what could cause the problem, I ordered the door gasket and the detergent grommet. Silly to do the door gasket, which helped slow down the leak but didn't fix all of it, and then have to go and order the grommet and wait for that to show up when it is less than $5. I need of a door gasket really bad anyway. I peeled the old door gasket out with a screw driver and replaced the new one in less than 5 minutes. Test ran the dishwasher and found that it still leaked some. Removed the inner door panel as shown in the help video, 7 hex screws, very simple, no suprise pieces falling out, removed the detergent latch, (2) 1/4" screws, and slide out the piece. The grommet was almost gone. Slipped the new one on, replacing all the pieces the way they came off and test ran again. One little drip but I think it left over moisture from before. Have it twice since with no leaks. Perfect solution.

Bottom rack came with separate wheels and 3 clips
I figured out how to install the wheels by looking at my old rack. I finally figured out how to install the blue clip over the wheels so that the separate dish divider would be stabil. I did not use the two gray clips because I had used the wheels to anchor the ends of the dish divider.

The roller on the top rack was broken and rack wouldn't move in and out
It was fairly simple. I watched the video on the website that told me exactly how to install the part. I had some difficulty popping the part onto the rack so I enlisted the help of my son-in-law and he used a small screwdriver to pry the clamp open just a little and it popped onto the rack. It is so nice now to be able to pull the top rack out the whole way and slide it back in.

theclips holding the top rack were broken
the repair was so easy. I called my local maytag repair man and they want 85.00 dollars for the call and 6.00 a piece for the parts. well really. so i thought how hard could it be? I ordered the parts from Part select and fixed it myself. it took a whopping 5 minutes, 1) un snap the clips at the end of the sliding metal bars and slide out the top rack and remove it.2) take old parts off slide bars by unsnapping them and pulling them off replace them with the snapped together new parts each part has 2 pieces and they will slide one in the designated place there are 2 on each side3) Replace the upper rack swing the clips to secure the rack and then replace the plastic pieces at the ends of the metal bars. Saved 88.00 bucks took me 5 minutes .
