Refrigerator door would not close completely.
I removed all the items off the shelves of the door. I then removed the top assembly,Then lifted the door off the the bottom hinge and laid it on a flat surface. I then removed and replaced the cam connector on the bottom of the door. I then removed and replaced the cam from the lower right side of the refrigerator. I put the door on the cam without assistance , then reassembled the top assembly. The refrigerator door operated immediately just like it did when it was new over 20 years ago.

Refrigerator not staying cold.
Remove items from Freezer, remove panel and defrost condensor coils (most time consuming part of the job). Defrost Heater is held in with two screws and two electrical connectors (remove by hand or with pliers). It's worth replacing the Defrost theromostat and Defrost heater at the same time. Only cost $60 for the two parts and will ensure you have the fix. Use the "outdoor" wire nuts when splicing in the Defrost thermostat, that will ensure you don't have any issues with moisture at the splice. When defrosting the condensor coils, soak up water as the catch tray won't hold the volume of water that will melt off the coils.

Freezer side door would not remain closed
I did exactly as the video instructed. Removed the top hinge bracket. Removed the door. Replaced the parts on both the door and the freezer, taking care to save and re-install the shims. I put the door back in place and installed the top hinge. I also lubed the hinge pins with very light grease. The door now works perfectly.

Water leak at the nylon hose for chilled water service
The parts purchased worked perfectly and your write-ups explained what the typical problems are with this water leak that was occurring with our GE refrigerator at the nylon water line for chilled water service. Your description highlighted exactly what the problem was and the parts that I needed to make the repairs. This saved me a plumbing service call. All I had to do was cut off the nylon hose beyond the cracked area, apply the water nylon tube union joining the two hose ends and tighten the coupling at the unit.

Thanks again,

Jim Macdonald

Broken drawer railings
Don't know why they broke in the first place but I suspect that the door was closed with the draw not fully closed. Very simple repair involving 4 Philips head screws (not included) Parts clearly marked left and right. Wise to leave broken ones in position for orientation reference before beginning. A digital photo works wonders as well.
