Ice Maker Failure
I first repalced the ice maker (Parts Select) and the unit still did not produce ice. Then following a U-tube video I tested the resistance on the water valve with a multimeter. It failed. Ordered a replacement water valve from Parts Select. Received part 2 days later. It took 15 minutes to remove and replace failed valve. Ice maker operates perfectly after repair.

Freezer was not getting cold enough
Mine was alittle different than the online instructions. 1. I removed the motor. 2. I took the fan off the old motor and cut the wires about 3" back from old motor. 3. Mounted the new fan on bracket and put the fan on the new motor. 4.connected wires that were cut and used wire nuts to connect. 5. Mounted bracket and motor/fan to unit and it works like its brand new. Thank you PartSelect!

Fridge section too warm and freezer cold
The unit has two fans on it. One is located in the back and the other is locate inside the freezer section behind the panel. Remove the four bolts holding the door to the sliding rack. Remove the ice machine. Remove the back panel. Noticed that the fan was covered in ice thus shorting the fan motor. Tested for voltage to the fan was good. Replaced evaporator fan motor and unit works perfectly

refrigerator/freezer would not cool
Set the freezer control knob to OFF. Use a long bottle brush to clean the cooling fins below the freezer by removing the lower front grill. Pull fridge away from wall, unplug, remove rear panel near bottom, remove power connector to the unit attached to the large black tank(condenser). Be very careful not to damage the quick connect housing. There is a wire spring holding the capacitor/relay assembly to the condenser. The black run capacitor and the white overload relay come off together. CAUTION, THE CAPACITOR MAY STILL BE HOLDING A CHARGE. Don't separate the two items unless you are familiar with electrical safety precautions. Plug in the new items on the condenser, reconnect the power cord, plug in the fridge and turn it on using the freezer control knob. You should hear the condenser start. It is possible to remove the two parts and test them separately. My capacitor was fine but the relay had blown. I replaced both since it seems most problems are one or the other and it was easier to do them together. Cleaning the cooling coil and removing/replacing the back cover are the most time consuming parts of the procedure. The actual repair took 5 minutes once I had access.

The tab that holds the lid over the bottom deli door broke off and the lid would not stay in place
I removed the bottom drawer, the two upper drawers and the glass that covered the lower drawer. Took three screws out of the left side pantry end cap and replaced it with the new part. New end cap in place, put the drawers back in, put the cover back on and it works like a charm.

Frige and freezer quit working
Two days prior to realizing unit was not cooling I was hearing a clicking sound at the back. My google research told me a clicking sound indicates a problem with the "relay overload". If you remove this and it rattles when you shake it, that tells you it is bad. Mine rattled alot. To start, I unplugged the fridge. Removed the vented panel at the exterior lower rear. Removed the wire clip holding the "relay overload" in place. Unplugged the "relay overload" from the compressor. Note that the "run capacitor" is plugged in to the "relay overload" and they will appear as one unit. I replaced both w/new. I plugged the two together, plugged them into the compressor, plugged the frige in to test and it worked. Put the wire clip earlier removed back in place. Reinstall the vented panel. Push frige back into place.

Pantry cover hinge broke
Repair was helped by reading what others shared with similar issue helped a lot. First remove all bins and glass pane. Use the nut driver to remove three screws that hold the pantry. Be careful while removing it from refrigerator. There a an vent control that clips onto back side of refrigerator and attaches to pantry end cap. Remove this piece, be careful as not to break it. This piece ( the guts) attaches to the slide piece that attaches to the controller, remove carefully by turning it to align the slot tab. Then remove the pantry sliders by two screws by using your nut driver. Reverse these steps for reinstall. Then place completed unit into refrigerator, by clipping the back vent control, don't forget the square foam gasket. Then slide the pantry end cap into place, pay attention to the front of the end cap as you may need to slide into the clip to lock in place. Then screw in the three screws, careful not to tighten to much, as it might crack.

Ice maker pouring water into icebucket
Watching the video made this dead easy. If I had a newer refrigerator, I suspect it would have taken 10 minutes. Since I have an older 'fridge, I ran into two issues not in the PartSelect video. First - there were no "clips" to slip the icemaker into/out of, the unit was screwed directly into the freezer wall. Kinda hard to see the screws, especially the one in front, but not a big problem. Second - there is a wire-harness clip at the back side of the icemaker, that hooks onto the ledge of the back connector, just under the screw. That clip had slipped, and until I figured that out and reseated it, it made getting to the rear screw wit the nutdriver a serious pain. Other than those two issues, though, the job was exactly as easy as the video makes it look!
