The washer no longer spun during the rinse cycle
Many kudos to the folks who posted here. The instructions with the part didn't help much, but your comments did. I found it quite easy to replace the retaining clips using a pair of pliers at their wide setting to press the clip back into place. Oh, and when you tip the washer over, have a can of bug spray handy, you might be upsetting a black widow or two.

Noisy agitator, noticed the cam slipping
I watched the video on the webpage and followed the process. Unscrewed the one bolt and pulled the whole agitator out. When the top and bottom components wouldn't release, I noticed the tabs coming up through the cam slots of the old cam were mushroomed from age. I snipped at the mushroomed plastic with a pair of pliers and that freed the top component of the agitator. The hardest part was cleaning nearly 10 years of soap residue built up in various places. The repair was simple and the design of the agitator makes it easy to work on. This is the second component I have replaced (the water pump went out 3 years ago) and neither took long to complete. Elegant and simple engineering has made for easy repairs. The videos are complete and easy to follow. Don't call a repair service to do something you can do yourself in minutes. Thanks!

The washer wouldn't spin unless it got a little help in starting.
I completed the repair EXACTLY as shown in the YouTube video. I went Googling for some ideas when I came upon the PartSelect video which showed the repair being completed on the EXACT make and model of my unit. Screw Sears, which listed the repair as 'difficult'; it was easy! Nothing like seeing it done before attempting it. I am very pleased with both the product and the help!

Water leaking from bottom of washer.
We search on line the possible cause for our problem and Partselect offered the possible cause and solution. We watched the video on replacing the water pump.We then ordered the pump and 2 hoses. We followed the instructions and after removing the front panel, we found out one of the pump retainer was rusted away. We tried to look for local supplier and was shock that Sears was charging 20 bucks for a single retainer, which Partselect only charge dollar and eight cents. We ordered the 2 retainers on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday afternoon. We were able to fix the problem and are very happy there was no more leak. I wish the retainers come with the pump even if you include the extra cost to the pump pricing. We could have save the extra shipping charge for ordering the retainers only. I would definitely order more parts from Partselect and recommend it to my friends. Thanks again for your help.

Machine would not spin when pumping out water
You have to determine if it is the COUPLING or the TRANSMISSION or the CLUTCH. I checked the coupling and that wasn't it. The machine did rotate back and forth in the wash cycle so I thought it would be either the clutch or the timer assembly. I ordered the clutch and used the video to guide me through the installation. One problem was the PUMP was stuck on the shaft so I removed the hosed and took out the rest as one unit. The clutch was full of crud and after replacing it and checking for leaks, the machine runs perfectly now! I would suggest you replace the hose washers when you reattach them to the machine as I rechecked after turning on the water and found a TINY drip that would have been a problem over time!

Upper agitator stoped working
After watching your video, which was perfect, I took out the fabric softener container at the top, reached in and pulled out the dust cap, used an extension ratchet to remove the bolt while holding the bottom agitator so it didn't turn while turning bolt, reached to the bottom and popped up and removed the agitator and removed the loosened bolt to set it aside. I then sat the agitator on the floor, put my feet on either side while pulling up on the upper agitator to separate them. Then I popped the cam kit loose from the tabs and removed it. Then I assembled the new cam kit being careful that the yellow piece becomes flat with the white piece when put together. While holding the new cam in one hand and the upper agitator upside down in the other, I inserted the cam kit until the tabs popped together, then popped the upper and lower agitators back together. I replaced the agitator back onto the shaft inside the washer, replaced the bolt while holding the lower agitator to tighten (don't over tighten). I put vaseline on the rubber seal on the dust cap and replaced it making sure it was level and that the seal didn't move out of it's position as I pushed it down over the top of the cam. I replaced the fabric softener container, closed the lid and smiled because I had just saved a ton of money by doing this repair myself. May I also say that my ability to do this repair was in large part due to PartSelect.com. I commend your excellent service. My parts were delivered in two quick days and I appreciate that you provide fast delivery. Plus, finding the video that totally walked me through the repair process helped so much. The only hard part for me was that I needed someone stronger than myself to pop the upper and lower agitator parts apart (I suppose that was because they had never been taken apart). Thank you PartSelect for the excellent service and guidance.

Washer would fill with water and then stop.
My brother-in-law did the repair. He unscrewed the back of the top part of the machine. He located the lid switch, which is on the right from the back of the machine (left if you look at it from the front). He then unscrewed the ground wire and unhooked the old lid switch. He put the new one in place, hooked it back up, screwed the ground wire. Reconnected everything and now it works.

Motor stopped working
My 17 year old grandson patiently took the cabinet apart and removed the motor. After providing model#, serial#, and motor #, we received a new motor in only two days. He had it back together in about an hour and a half -- and it worked perfectly. What a pleasant experience!
