Washer would pump water but the spin cycle got slower & slower
Because the washer was over 5 yrs. old I took this opportunity to thoroughly clean the machine also. I took the cab.completely off including the back. I then removed the agitator, motor & pump as an assembly. I was shocked at the sledge that had built up at the top edge of the plastic tub. A thin brush and the water hose took care of that.Next I removed the old clutch & installed the new assem. reassembled the motor pump & cab. Ran the machine in the garage for a cycle to make sure it operated properly without any leaks before I hooked it up inside. I was impressed with the how to video it was a real confidence builder when undertaking this repair, also the price of the part was good and delivery was prompt. Parts Select has a new customer.

Washing machine was clicking and noisey
After watching the video, I thought it would be a 5 minute job. Boy was I wrong. The video didn't say anything about the 4 tabs holding on the Cam assembly and the tabs had worn down and were not clearly visible inside the tube. Once I figured this out, uncliping was difficult because of the clearances, but once I figured it out, the rest of the assembly was easy. You need to not skip a step in the videos!

Top agitator stopped working
Important advice... if you have trouble separating the top agitator from the bottom, the tabs that hold them together are probably melted. Find four white plastic tabs, looking down from top agitator, (you can see if they are melted). Then put a flathead screwdriver on the edge where it is melted and tap the other end of the screwdriver with a hammer. Once you get the melted plastic loose, the two agitators will come apart easily. Otherwise, you will hurt your back yanking on the dang thing.

Machine would not get up to speed on spin cycle.
Started by unpluging and disconnected water hoses.Removed agitator retaining bolt and pulled off. Tipped machine onto a support on it`s front side. Unplugged motor connector and removed drain hoses from pump.Removed the three motor bolts and rotated and pulled out motor and shaft. Removed retaining clip and installed new clutch assembly. Plastic clutch drive looked ok but since it was apart removed retaing clip and changed it too. Slid shaft and motor assembly back into machine and reconnected everything, works like a new one.

Top section of agitator was worn out
First, I expected all the parts to be included with the top agitator section. The first order resulted in just the agitator section alone, so I had to order the additional parts separately. This put the repair back a couple of days. With all parts in, I reviewed the video, and it was a simple matter of reversing the order of disassembly. Took less than 15 minutes, and the machine is as good as new.

Upper Agitator free-wheeling
Very simple....watch the video on Partselect.com and you will have no problems. SUGGESTION: The only suggestion I would make to anyone doing this repair is to also change the plastic THRUST WASHER located between the upper and lower agitators (not included with this kit). Chances are a worn thrust washer contributes to this problem in the first place.

did not spin all the water out of clothes (clutch was slipping)
followed repair instruction,( bought on line and down loaded ) some instructions were unclear but when you have the machine apart its obvious. your parts breakdown helped more than the instructions once the cabinet was opened.

The wash machine would not begin to agitate after filling with water.
The lid switched arrived as indicated by the order information. Pulling the washer out to remove the rear panel was the most difficult part of the repair. 5 screws had to be removed before changing out the switch and installing the new part. The repair proved successful after the washer filled with water and began agitating on its own.
