clothes were not getting spun enough
Actually a pretty easy repair.
Unbolted the agitator assembly. Turned the washer on its side, unbolted the motor assembly
removed it and easily replaced the clutch and drive coupler. The coupler was not worn but I figured I'd just do it while I had it apart.

No agitation or spin
lt7000xv - washer/dryer stack

removed the center panel between the dryer and washer.

unplugged the machine

removed the two clips to release the top/lid.

slid the top/lid assembly off

removed the small metal stability corner cross piece.

removed the top two screws of the front panel

lifted the front panel up and away (if it feels stuck, just put some muscle into it)

unplugged the wiring harness from the motor

removed the two big bolts at the bottom front that secure the tub in place

to be able to pull the tub out...

reached behind and to the right to remove the pressure hose

released the wiring from the tub

released the drain hose from its clip

pulled out the tub far enough so i could work on the motor.

on the motor, unscrewed and removed the two clips (top/bottom) to gain access to the coupling.

replaced old with new.

i thought lining everything up so i could slip the motor back on would be difficult since its tough to see where the teeth on the coupling are going, but it was kind to me and fit into place on the first try.

Top part of agitator was not turning in the wash cycle
1. Remove the softner dispenser cap (it just pops off).
2. Reach into the agitator and remove the plastic water seal cap covering the nut that holds the agitator to the shaft.
3. Use a 7/16 socket on an extension to remove the nut.
4. Lift strait up on the top part of the agitator and it will slide right off the shaft.
5. Remove the cog assembly from the agitator. (At this point, I cleaned the inside and outside of the agitator of all the accumulated "stuff").
6. Slide the old cogs out of the assembly and replacing with the new ones.
7. Reverse all your steps and it's that easy.
8. Easy, quick, and inexpensive and it's working great like a new washer!!

Washer was leaking from the front end of the bottom
I removed the top as instructed and verified the pump was leaking. Getting the top back on is a little tricky, but if you angle it right it goes right back on. After ordering and receiving the replacement part from partselect I removed the top from the washer again using a philips screwdriver, and used pliers to shift the hose clamps of the old pump so I could remove them. There was about a quart of water in the hoses and the towels I put underneath took care of that. Then I removed the clamps holding the pump in place (no tools needed there) and put the replacement in. works beautifully!

Agitator did not work
First, I removed and disassembled the agitator unit in an attempt to diagnose the problem. I then observed (by manual rotation that the cogs were not engaging). Physical inspection did not reveal any abnormality. However, I knew that the cogs had to be the problem since they were not engaging properly. After looking up the part on your web page, I noticed from the picture that the cogs actually has a couple of small teeth on them (mine was missing the teeth from all four cogs). Apparently they had worn off or had broken completely off during the last use. I received the new parts as ordered, replaced them in the agitator unit and re-assembled the agitator unit. The washer now works perfectly again. Thanks for the service and ESPECIALLY the detailed pictures. They were a tremendous help in solving our issue. We will purchase parts from you again if needed ... saved me a repair call or puchasing of a new unit.

I removed the top assembly with timer and then the front cover. The pump and motor were removed to access the direct drive motor coupling. I installed the new direct drive motor coupling and then installed the parts I removed in reverse.

Washer would not Operate Correctly
After seeing the video ,I followed the procedure descibed and poped the cover off. and looked inside. The old agitator directional cogs had completely disintergrated. After cleaning out the old pieces ,I used a 7/16 whench to take off the agitator and the holding ring underneath. After installing the new cogs and replaceing the ring ,I reinstalled the agitator and tightned the 7/16 bolt in the agitator and replaced the cover. I then started the washer and the unit operated like a new washer. Thanks Guys

My wash machine was just dipping water into the tub. This was using warm water. It ran for over an hour and barely had any water in it. When I turned it to hot or cold I didn't get any water. For the last few years I wasn't able to use the hot or cold water to wash my clothes because the water
On this particular washer you have to remove the top part of the machine. Where your controls are at, ie: water temp, water level, etc. It takes removing a few screws. Than you have to remove the back of the machine. Unhook the washer hoses going into your machine. This is where your part is on the inside of the back. Remove the back by a few sliding hooks. Unhook the electrial plugins going into the mixer (value inlet). There will be other plugins you have to unplug up around the water level, water temp areas (on top of the machine). Remove the old water inlet value, replace it with the new. Replace all plugin electrical parts and put the back back on. Put top back on, screw in the screws and try your new machine. NOTE: When it comes to these electrical plugins its not that hard. They are are different, they can only go in one way. My wires were all tied together so each plug was at that particular plugin length. Ex: The last plugin was the longest. Pretty easy to know where it go. The other ones were shorter. In other words it was pretty easy to know where they went after unplugging. So don't be scared to try this. There is one wire that is screwed into the metal for a ground wire. Just make sure you do get this back in for your safety. It's the only one that could be over looked. I am a female and I watched and helped my loving father take this machine apart. After this I put this part in myself. I was amazed that my machine was like new again. I agreed to tell my story because by others telling there story is what helped me. It saved me from buying a new machine. When I seen the stories on this particular problem I was ready to take the chance. I had already spent way more than that at the laundry mat. Thank you again and best wishes to you all.

Leaky Pump
I watched the video on your website. Disconected water supply hoses and unpluged the washer. Pulled washer away from wall. Titled washer back on a 60 degree angle. Removed input and output water hoses from the pump. Removed clips that hold the pump in place. Lifted pump off the drive shaft. Placed new pump on drive shaft and reassembled.
