Remove the door hinge screws to remove door. Then remove the screws opposite of the door hinge. Remove front dryer panel and locate ignitor (mine had a burnt spot and fell apart in my hands). Unplug electrical connector, only loosen ignitor mounting screw enough to remove ignitor. Install new ignitor. With the front cover removed I relocated my dryer to the front yard to blow excess lint and dust from inside the dryer. A lawn leaf blower works really well for this.
