Fully functional part
I received the part, installed it, and now my microwave works.
In the video that described how to determine if the motor was faulty, it stated to check for continuity. The old one had “infinite” resistance. The new one had a resistance less than 100 ohms, but it wasn’t low enough to hear the “beep” one normally hears when the ohmmeter is on the continuity setting.
Thanks for posting the video, though, and it allowed me to figure out how to fix the problem.

The turntable quit turning. I believe the motor needs to be replaced. Trying to take off the bottom of the microwave without much success. Any suggestions?

Hi Walt, Thank you for the question. The bottom panel is held in place by screws. After the screws are removed you can remove the panel. The appliance will need to be unmounted from the wall/cabinet as well. Hope this helps!
