Our (august 2016) microwave just stopped working. My husband used it without problem, but about 2 hours later it was completely off. It's like it was unplugged, but it's not. Tried flipping switch at electrical box, but didn't help. Any suggestions?

Hello Heather, Thank you for the question. Before any repair on a microwave, we suggest discharging the Capacitor as it can hold a charge even when the appliance is unplugged. We suggest testing the Capacitor and the Diode with a multi meter to check for continuity. We hope this helps.
