Timer knob slipping and could not set dryer
Searched dryer model on Google, found partselect.com. Searched for Dryer model and a diagram of the dryer with all its parts appeared. Selected the timer knob on the diagram and it took me to the part, ordered it. All steps took less than 10 minutes, and I had the new knob in my hands the next day and installed in about 3 minutes. You saved a few dollars, plus not having to miss time from work waiting for a repair man. Thank you! Rocio

The timer knob
It just slipped on. But, the ease in ordering this part was amazing. I am not mechanically inclined at all. I use repair people for mostly everytning, but, $50 to just look at it was too much!! Then I decided to look online and it was the right choice. I will use and/or suggest PartSelect ;-)

The dial on the timer slipped around!
I thought that the timer was broken but when I pulled the knob off, there was a slight crack in it so before I contemplated calling a service person, I ordered a new knob. Now it works just fine and turns with the usual 'clicks' that I wasn't hearing since it broke. For the $20 ( including S&H ) It was worth the try. Thanks for the website, very easy to use!
