Lcd panel went blank
removed the trim bezel housing the controls and clock assy, by removing 3ea phillips head screws on top and 4ea screws on the bottom of the trim bezel. disconnected the wiring harnesses. removed the 4 screws securing the LCD assy to the bezel. Repeated the process in reverse for installing replacement unit. Very simple. One note: Always shut off power to the appliance from the breaker panel. it will ensure proper reset of the panel when the power is turned back on. this is a procedure a 10 year old could handle. very simple and no electrical experience necessary. Saved myself at least $300 for a few minutes of my time....

Oven clock and temp display control and door hinge failure
For display replacement: remove top three phillip head screws and four underneath bezel screws. Detach 3 wire harness sockets. With control panel assembly detached from oven face remove two screws holding display control using socket driver and replace with new. Reverse steps for installation. Hinge replacement: Follow guidelines written by previous comments. Before re-installing door in to oven cavity slots be sure to remove temporary hinge "open" pin (small round-head pin approx. 3/8" long which holds the spring loaded hinge in a position to insert it through the oven door housing assy. slots). The clock was so dim it couldn't be seen anymore.
First, I turned the power off to the oven. With a screwdriver, I removed the 3 screws above and the 4 screws below the control panel. Next, gently pulled out the control panel. Three cables attached the electronic clock assembly to the bundle of cables controlling the oven. By pulling on the plastic tabs, I was able to loosen two of the cables. The other "cable" resembles a ribbon. Squeeze the black tabs on each side of the base of the ribbon connector and pull slightly. The ribbon itself then needs to be bent and gently removed from the connector (you can see two slits in the ribbon that hold it in place). Using my wrench set, I removed the four screws that held the electronic clock assembly to the control panel. Then I attached the new clock assembly, replaced the cables and ribbon cable, snapped in the control panel and secured it into place with the seven screws. It was very easy to do this.

Display faded to unreadable
Switch off the breaker to the oven. Unscrew the 3 top and 4 bottom screws holding on the control panel cover. Unplug the 2 cables from the clock assembly (which run to the oven). Remove the 4 hex screws which attach the clock assembly to the control panel cover. Unplug the ribbon which attaches the clock assembly to the control panel cover by lifting the black tabs and sliding it out (there is not a plug on the end of the ribbon). Switch out the old clock assembly for the new one, reverse the steps to put it back together.

The lights in the clock/temperature assembly went dim and then eventually went out.
After turning off the power to the oven, I first removed four screws under the face of the control panel (open the oven door and look up). The entire front face of the control panel then slid out. I then unplugged the two sets of wires that led from that piece to the main oven (so that I could lay the front panel on the counter) taking care to remember where they would plug back in.
I then unplugged two wires from the clock assembly. Next, I unscrewed the clock assembly (an approx 3 inch by 5 inch assembly that is screwed to the very center of the control panel) using a small ratchet wrench set (they are hex screws). I then replaced the broken clock assembly with the new one, plugged it back in, plugged the front panel back into the oven, slid the panel back into place, and replaced the four screws. Turned back on the power. All done! 10-15 minutes.
Just take care to get the correct clock assembly for your model of Jenn-Air oven. There are several different versions that are not interchangeable.

Could not read the electronic display.
We were selling our house and the inspection report noted that the Clock on the double oven didn't work and needed to be repaired. I called the service company to get an estimate. They said $536.00 for replacing the Clock Assembly. I went to your site, saw the schematic, found the part for under $150.00 and ordered it. It took me 10 minutes to install it. Because of you I saved nearly $400.00! Thanks for the quick and reliable service I will reccomend Parts Select.com to everyone!

Digital clock too dim to read
The digital clock was a snape to install but the long oven sensor required installation from the back. This means removing the double oven from the cabinet. I'm saving this repair for the installation of new cabinets.

Dimming display
Built in so removed 4 screws underneath display and lifted up (was a little tricky because of cabnet doors above)removed 2 plug in connectors and put unit on counter top. to remove ribbon connector push in on tabs on both sides, lightly pull up ribbon (the wider part of connector will come up about a 32nd of an inch and the ribbon will pull away from that, there are two small protusions on the connector that capture two holes in the ribbon) once you figure that out its a simple job.

Oven display not working
I read installation advise on this web site, so when the part arrived I was more than ready to replace it. Removing a few screws below the faceplate, pulling the faceplate out slightly then up, being careful with the electronic connections, (there are tabs on the sides that need to be pressed to remove the connectors. The largest connecter is tricky, the side tabs need to be pressed then gently pulled up to release the electronic "tape".) It took about ten minutes to complete. Very satisfied.

Clock display dim.
easy peasy. the only tricky part, if you don't have prior knowledge, is releasing the ribbon from the old part. I recommend going on youtube and searching for any video that shows you how to release a ribbon connector. We did that and it was invaluable. The alternative is practicing on your new part, but I really didn't want to do this. The new part works beautifully and PartSelect had it to us in 2 days.

Display was completely blank
Turned off current at breaker box. Removed the panel above the top oven (dual-oven) by removing the seven screws that held it on. Disconnected the wires going to the clock assembly. Laid the entire panel face down on the counter, removed the four screws holding the clock assy in place and removed clock. Installed new clock and reinstalled panel. It was that easy!
