microwave door handle broke
I received the door handle in 2 pieces along with one screw to put the two together. 3 days later the 2 screws to attach the handle to the microwave door showed up so I could finally put the handle on. I was amazed that I had to purchase each piece separately and that they pieces were shipped in two deliveries.

Followed instructions from internet
My son took the door sealer off. It just pulls off easily. Then with screw driver took out the screws and put on the outer part of handle and replaced the screws and bracket. Took less than 30 minutes after we found how to do it.

Handle broke off original microwave door
Separated the inside panel on the microwave door, removed the screws from the old door handle and utilized them to install new door handle. Access to the screws was a little tight thus the "a bit difficult" rating.

Handle broke from our over the range microwave oven
removed screws from the old handle (this took the longest amount of time - 5 minutes, and required a needle nose pliers and a screw driver). Replacing the handle took 2 minutes to screw the handle to the door. Very easy!!

Door handle snapped off where screws attach
I pondered getting both the inside and outside parts but went with the outside only. Prying the gasket loose went very easily, and removing the latches went easy too (to expose the bottom screw. I found the inner handle base broken but glued it together, not worrying too much because the real attchment to the door is done with the outer

handle screws. I can see why the handle broke in the first place because the screws went in with a lot of torque necessary. I suspect that this weakened the posts so I lubricated the screws and backed them in and out so as not to stress the posts. I think all that is necessary is the outer handle, if you want to save some money. Everything snapped back into place easily and it is done after listening to the wife complain for almost 6 months. Part Select is a great site for appliance repair.

microwave handle was completely broken off
Found info on how to replace handle here. Couldn't have done it without that information! We popped out the black trim on the inside of the door and removed the spring to access the bottom screw. From there it was pretty much easy to see where ever thing fit. Had difficulty getting the tabs clipped in the front of the door.
