Our power cord got caught under the door and cut the red wire into we fixed the wire but when we turn on the wine cooler the power failure light comes on is this just a faulty cord or are we looking at another issue?

Hi Crissi, thank you for getting in touch. If the power to the appliance is interrupted, the system status indicator will turn off and the "Power Failure" indicator will flash. Check the circuit breaker and power outlet where the appliance is connected. If there is no issue, we recommend replacing the power cord, part number PS16227180, to solve the problem. You can also check the power cord with a multimeter. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
