Turned on power and gas and set the clock/timer clock and the oven and broiler both came on and works fine. So easy couldn't believe. The repair estimate was over $300.00. I did it for the cost of the Clock/timer, just under half the estimate. Thank you guys. Rosemary Gray

I just recently replaced the igniter in my oven and it worked for a month or so and now the oven comes on every now and then, when you try to turn it on the clock timer won't display the temperature, it will show three lines then go back to the time mode and the igniter won't activate. My question is do you think replacing the clock/timer would solve the problem, I turned it on last night but this morning it would not work. Your help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
For model number FGB24L2ABA
Hi Turner, Thank you for the question. It does sound like an issue with the Clock/Timer control Board. You can also test the igniter to make sure it is not defective. It should read 3.2 to 3.6 amps or produce 3.2 to 3.6 VAC at the oven safety valve terminals while the igniter is glowing. Anything below that woudl indicate a weak igniter. Hope this helps!
