Does this light let you know if the oven light is on or if a is a element on? I cant get it to shut off. Thanks

Hi Dave, Thank you for the question.This is the indicator light to let you know the element is on. If the light does not turn off you may have a short in the switch that controls the burner and it will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

The lens light indicating the burner is on will stay lit, even when the handle control for the heat setting is turned off. What part do I need to fix?
