Clean the old seal area. I let it dry for a couple hours, just to be safe. Rubber gloves, I applied the adhesive to the door all away around the seal molding space. Then inserted the rubber seal. Going around with my finger pushing the seal tightly into place. Let dry over night and the next day I closed the dry and let it finish drying. Then came the washing day and the dryer worked like a charm.

1.Installed thermal fuse. I thought this was the problem as a few years ago this fixed the dryer that was now experiencing a similar problem. Problem persisted. 2. Installed new thermostat. Problem persisted. 3. Installed new igniter coils. Eureka! Problem solved!

Watched repair video first to access problems and steps to do replacement for parts. Took more than :30 only because most of the time was spent cleaning. Amazing how much dirt and dust accumlates inside a closed unit. Even took the back off to clean and check electrical connections. Parts were exactly as shown and explained. Would absolutely use PartSelect again if needed.

I ordered the part I suspected....which was indicated by approximately 44% of the users having success replacing the thermal fuse. After watching the video on how to perform the repair, it was a snap! Removed the 9 screws, removed the vent hose, popped out the fuse, and replaced it. After checking to see if that was the problem....which it was, I reassembled the dryer. It only took more time because I chose to vacuum any exposed areas. THANK YOU!

unplug take off vent hose and back panel unscrew one bolt holding the fuse disconnect 2 wires. Connect the 2 wires to the new fuse hold in place with the bolt put back on the back panel and vent hose plug in and your done

I changed the thermal fuse following instructions from the video on the site . Very easy repair, anyone can do it.

Pulled out old lint screen. Pushed in new lint screen. Time 30 seconds! Why can't all repairs be this easy? ! LOL !!!

Ok, there was a couple of other parts not on the video but were not hard to deal with. I would suggest talking a photo of the assembled parts before taking parts of for a reference when reassembling.

Pried edge of latch with dull butter knife. Latch popped out. New one popped back in place. Took 30 seconds.

Viewed online video and written instructions that were included in maintenance kit.

Followed the procedure outlined in instructions included with maintenance kit. My dryer did not have a pully wheel on the idler arm. Instead it was more or less a wear bar formed in a semi circle attached to the idler bar. This is what was causing the noise. The dryer wheels were good and the dryer belt was good too after 10 years of use. The parts in the kit were of good quality and fit perfectly. The supplied instructions were easy to follow.

Watched the tutorial online. Took the back off- replaced the fuse. Put the back on . It was extremely easy !!

Replace the switch in diagram #4.

The water level switch was easy to install, it ws getting the cover on the washer back on that was hard for me since I am 68 yrs old and have a bad knee. Its why it took me two hours to do what most people could do in 20 minutes.

When the part came in. I unplugged the dryer. Pulled it away from the wall and took the back off. I pulled the wires off the old fuse and plugged them in the new fuse, then unscrewed the on nut that held the old fuse. Then slid the new one in and put the nut back on. Plugged the dryer in and it worked. So I unplugged the dryer and put the back on.
