YGH5184XPB2 Whirlpool Microwave - Instructions

Remove broken grille and snapped new grille in place. Very easy to do. Very poor design by Whirlpool. This is my third grille in 4 years. Thank you PartSelect for carrying the replacement grilles.

The problem I have with changing the bulb is my microwave is an overhead one and therefore I cannot tip it on its side to easily replace the bulb. I have to drop the lid down and carefully install the new bulb from underneath.

Removed the glass cover and replaced the bulb. Very simple.

Easy order for new replacement grill. Easy to pop it right back on.

Opened the box, took the new part out and snapped it on. Easy. Fit perfectly. Took less than 2 minutes. Looks great!

First let me say that I tried several places to get what I thought was a simple light bulb. This included several national hardware stores as well as a national electrical supply company. No luck. was able to find the part needed using the microwave model number. i ordered the part and was able to replace it in less than 5 minutes - was great to find the part needed easily and fix the eyesore!

Watched video which reminded me to order support for the turntable support ring and did exactly what the person in the video did. Excellent and prompt service and all parts fit.

After researching online, I found that I needed the turntable drive coupling, part#PS993087. when I went to your site it showed the same part but the part number had changed but said it would fit my microwave. Well, I was really surprised and happy when the part I received 3 days after I placed the order, with normal shipping,fit perfectly and now my turn table in my microwave works. I have marked this site a a favorite and will use it I'm sure soon. Being a single women and having to figure out how to fix the things on a small buget, I'm learning a lot and have a lot of respect for men that know how to do all the repair stuff. Simply placed new dish on the rotating hub.

Repair was a breeze. When I received the part the metal piece had been bent in shipment so I gently removed with a screwdriver and bent it back then gently placed metal piece back into place.
