Ice maker quit working
The online video was great in showing you how to make the repair. My existing ice maker is hard wired so it was important the wiring order lined up. I had ordered another ice maker from another company which did not match up and I sent it back. The ice maker from PartSelect matched up exactly. Took out the 2 screws on top and 1 on bottom with nut driver. Disconnected electrical connection with screwdriver as the video shows. Installed bar from old ice maker as the video shows and made electrical connection and installed 3 screws. My wife held the flashlight and afterward her comment was "Only 1 wiring connection and 3 screws! What took you so long?" The actual replacement repair took less than 10 minutes. Thanks PartSelect!!

non-functioning refrigerator lite switch
My owners manual said to unplug fridge from elec outlet, use a kitchen knife to gently pry off the switch plate
(manual had a pictoral example), unclip the two wire, replace with on new switch and replace the switch. Close
door and plug back in. Open door to check that the lite
works. Walla! It did. Thanks!

No Ice for several months
The ice maker in my fridge had been broken for months. I kept passing it off thinking it would be an expensive and time consuming repair. However, I finally decided to do a little research and found your website. I ordered the part on Friday and got it on Saturday! I couldn't believe how fast the shipping was! The instructions that came with the ice maker and the video on the website made this job a breeze! I had ice in a couple of hours! Thank you SO MUCH! I can now get rid of those pesky ice trays and free up freezer space.

Ice Maker Broke
I bought part number 4317943. and used the same wire bracket from the old Ice maker. I had a little trouble reaching the screws, I am 6'2 and had a little trouble seeing and reaching what I needed too. My Wife is alot smaller and had no problem reaching in and installing the Ice maker with a little help from me, all I did was hold it inplace for her and give her a little advise.

Ice maker wont make ice - motor broken
The ice maker wasn't working. I diagnosed the motor as being overworked and burnt out.

It stopped working a few months ago and I never got around to changing it. But my father who came to visit decided to take it apart. In doing so, he misplaced one of the three screws. Otherwise the ice maker went in very quickly. I spent the rest of the time looking for the screw and eventually gave up and searched through Lowe's for a match. Needless to say I found the original screw when I was putting all my tool box away.

Ice Maker would not produce ice.
My ice maker would not produce ice. I removed motor module which involved removing ice maker from freezer, removing motor module cover and 3 screws. I found short (burnt place) in copper of existing module. Ordered new motor module, replaced, and all is fine. Great service, quick delivery and correct part.
