Broken bottom drawer
After receiving the replacement drawer from PartSelect, I removed the broken drawer and took off the front (since the drawer is sold separately). It came off easily with a putty knife. I cleaned the front (clean every 10 years whether it needs it or not), slid it onto the drawer, used the putty knife to reattach the lip and slid the drawer into place. Took ~3 minutes. There is a very good short video at the website if you are unsure about removing & attaching the front piece.

Leaking water filter cup
Initially I changed the filter, but in so doing, I misplaced the o ring located in the filter cup; without that o ring water leaks out every time it cycles. I purchased the o ring online (five dollars plus eight dollars to ship) and bingo no more leaks.

Side Mounted Ice Maker Quit Functioning,
1st my 72 year old husband has not had great success in repairing anything: electrical or plumbing. We got the part the next day. Had ordered it late one afternoon and had it the next morning in Wyoming. From the time we took it out of the box, disconnected the old one, plugged in the new one, remounted, it took less than 15 minutes. Amazing and it works great. Didn't need extra electrical connector, but tricky part on electrical connectors is to squeeze side to take apart and put back together. He used mirror to see the screws to loosen to take out and put back in ice maker. Next day our tray was full of ice. Good service/Good Product.

The drive blade was worn and wouldn't turn the drum
First off make sure you have a good quality Phillips screw driver. When the blade is worn out you can disassemble the ice maker with out removing the front. But to reassemble the front cover must be removed. Do yourself a favor and buy the drum and nut also. I am a mechanic by trade so the tools and repair was really easy. Be careful of the ice crusher BLADES they are very sharp. If your not mechanically inclined take pictures before disassembly, that will help you greatly. Hope this helps someone. Thanks Rory
