Quit making ice
Removed old ice maker by loosening two retention screws and disconnection the power connecting clip. Installed replacement ice maker using same retention screws, attached the power cord to existing connection. Total time to repair was less than 15 minutes. We now have ice again!!! This is the second part I have ordered from Part Select and each time the parts and delivery exceeded my expectations. Much easier than searching for these parts in your local appliance store. Thank you Parts Select.

The ice maker failed for the second time.
This is the 2nd ice maker replace in the past 20 months. This installation was easier following the experience of the first replacement. The instructions are well written. The pictures or illustrations are difficult. The most challenging part of the installation is routing and fastening the wire harness. The illustration was not helpful. Overall, this is a repair most DIYers should be able to accomplish.

Support Broken and would not support crisper
Because of the design of the support, this could have been a difficult job. However, with the video that was provided when I selected the part, it was not a problem. All you have to do is knock the center pin through the support and remove the old support. Pull the pin out of the wall of the unit and push the new support in and drive the new pin in until it is flush. That's it!

Tabs that hang the crisper broke
Ordering replacement parts was easy! Expected a simple pull out old plug, insert new plug.... Not sure if it comes from factory like this or if this had been previously repaired poorly, but the broken plug was heavily glued in place. Took some serious finess work to remove without serious damage. Once out, it was simple plug in
