The bearing-hinge on the bottom of the door had cracked.
It's not so much the ease of the repair that matters as how quickly you got the part to me. I had tried to order the part frmo a major company who's name rhymes with Beers, but they were unable to deliver it after three weeks. It was constantly on backorder. I ordered it from you on Monday, had the part on Tuesday, and had repaired it by Tuesday night.

Amazing service and turn around. You are to be congratulated.

Door made "klunking" noise and would no longer swing closed on its own.
With a screwdriver, remove the hinge cover-plate on the top of the door. This reveals the two nut-driven screws that hold th top hinge-plate: remove while children/wife/neighbor/butler/out-of-work-political consultant hold the door. Take out the screw on the Bearing plate and replace with new. (I replaced, but kept the old one. Like to replace parts that ride on each other in pairs, even if there is no noticable wear. Next, take the old Bearing-hinge from the bottom of the door that whomever is holding. Needle-Nose Pliers might be handy if your bearing-hinge is also shredded. Re-assemble being careful to place the bottom hinge into the Bearing without catching or scoring the Bearing hinge. Don't want to do this again in six monthes.
While I was under there with the base/bottom plate removed, I noticed the dust and crud and vaccumed after replacing the door.

wife broke water dispenser actuator
I had seen technician remove cover for warranty repair. If I had not I would have been in trouble... I removed tray exposing screws, removed screws and lifted off cover. I then pulled off connector to circuit board. I removed the three screws holding the broken dispenser part and removed it. The reverse was easy. The hinge cover was easy since I had learned to slide it forward FIRST (that's when I broke it). The shelf supports were tricky. The old ones would not come out. I sawed them off with a serrated knife and then picked the pieces out. Installing the new ones wasn't going well until I realized that I had to hammer the pegs in. Then they went right in.

the nylon bearing hinge was broken on the left door.
Removed cover from top bracket with phillips sd. removed bracket with socket wrench; lifted door from hinge; removed remnants of old hinge from recess, this took a while because it had broken inside, eventually I used needle nose pliers to break it up and pull it out in three parts; installed new bearing hinge; reset door, and installed bracket and cover.

Easy!

Actuator broke off
I noted this repair as easy and it is if you know what you are doing. I read the repair stories on line and thought I would give it a whirl. I ordered the part on line and in my haste I didn't even consider that I would need to order by color. I have a black appliance. To my dismay when the part came it was white. While waiting for the part I had attempted to find the small screws that would allow me to get to the repair site as described in the sucessful repair stories. There was no screws visible. The water pan on my model does not come out and there didn't seem to be any way to get to the actuator without prying off the ice and water portion of the frig. I was afraid to take a screwdriver to my frig as I didn't want to scratch it up . I decided to just call a repair man. He came with the black actuator. I returned the white actuator. The repair took about 15 min. He popped off the front which I was afraid to try and took out the three tiny screws and replaced the part. The total charge was $167.00. $75.00 of the charge was for diagnosis even thought I told that no diagnosis was needed. Part cost was $19.99 and th rest was labor.

Renters broke the door handle and the support for the crisper
The handle and trim piece were very easy to change. Four phillip head screws and it was done. The only difficult part was getting the broken crisper support out of the the wall of the refrigertor. Once it was removed the new one just snaped into place it was easy to replace.

Needed to replace water dispenser actuator
1. Turned off water and unplugged refridgerator. 2. Removed the drip tray. 3. Removed the 3 screws under drip tray. 4. Pulled facing off the fridge. 5. removed the 3 screws at top of dispenser. 6. Pulled the dispenser out far enough to remove broken actuator. 7. Removed 2 screws holding broken actuator in place. 8. Removed broken actuator and replaced with new actuator. Re-attached everything in reverse. Be aware that there are two serial numbers on the labels inside the refridgerator. The one with the letters at the end tells the color of the refridgerator. I had to return and reorder. The company emailed me the instructions and that went well too.
