WRS23MF5ASX Crosley Refrigerator - Instructions

Removed the old, installed the new one and finally figure out we had to press the reset button.

Ordered the part from PartSelect. Estimated time for slow delivery seven days. I got it in three. Removed the cover from the water and ice maker dispenser arena held on by three screes. I had to use an easy out on one rusted scree. Disconnected the wiring to the switches and lat the Circuit Board come forward by removing three small screws. Using tweezers to catch the screws, I removed two small screws holding the broken actuator and put the new one in its place making sure the spring was properly located and the ice maker swivel was under the hold-down strip along with the new actuator. I reassembled the door cover and got a drink of cold water. By the way, always unplug the refrigerator because that area is hot. Watched the video and read some comments and from that it was easy

Due to the nature of the support deisign and installation which was unusual I watched the video on how to extract the old broken support and install the new one, odering the new part was simple as the view privided in the parts section was specific and and easy choice to make, cost was very minimal and I received it the next day due to my being in close proximity to the shipping point, thank you and my crisper is very happy and so am I.

The part was simple find on the website. Ordered part. But the wrong part was sent. I called them and they promptly refunded my money. Reordered the right part. And once received it took only 5 mins. Thanks to video on website. They saved me approx. 100.00. I tell all my friends about the website. The best site bar none. Now if they could do this for cars!!! I give partselect.com 5 stars.

Drove pins all the way thru supports & then pryed support off. Tapped new supports in place. Watch the vidio on installing new supports. I probably wouldn't have been able to get the supports off without the trick I learned to just knock them on thru. Took all of 5 minutes to replace 4 supports.

Replacement took about 10 seconds, just put it onto the holding brackets, pressed down and presto...DONE!

Very easy repair, instruction were clear and easy to follow

1-Remove upper plate with phillips screw driver (6) screws 2- remove upper hinge plate with ratchet and socket (2) bolts 3- lift door off bottom cam, lay door flat on floor. 4- Remove broken cam on lower part of door, just pull out. 5- Install new cam in bottom of door 6- raise door up, set on cam, reinstall top bolts and screws 7- p. S. Make sure you trace top hinge location with a pencil before removal, so installation has proper location.

I took out the drawer, then the whole shelf. I unscrewed the track that was broken and screwed in the new one. I then, put the shelf back in the fridge and put in the new drawer. All works awesome!!!

Slid the new door shelf boon into place and closed the door.

Followed the video instructions and it works like a charm! To top it off, the part got to my house the day after I ordered it! Fantastic service!

I followed the excellent directions in the video linked to the email from PartSelect. The installation was quick and easy. I rated the whole operation "a bit difficult" because, if I had seen the video before I removed the old part, I would have known that you tap the support's center rod gently INTO the wall instead of wrestling it violently OFF the wall.
