My old racks were rusting from the top of the tines.
I thought these were OE racks they are not. They did do the job. However, I like OE parts the difference is exactly where the fold over rack on top rack goes the tines were not there to clip on it into there was a larger gap. So it was almost the same except the most important area. Same for the cone that clips in the center of the top rack. It is not as tight a fit front to back as it should be so it moves around more. I was concerned that the jet of water from top would miss the cone but it seems to be ok. So far so good. The racks did the job dishwasher is still cleaning dishes. But aftermarket parts are almost the same just not quite the same.

lower gasket on dishwasher popped out
Taking out the old lower gasket was easy. Installing the new one wasn't. I removed the outer door and slipped in the new gasket into the sleeve on the lower inner door and pushed it in until only a small amount of the gasket was showing. Closed the door and the gasket was NOT slightly sticking out as the video shows but was laying down on a curved plastic part. Opened the door and the gasket popped out. I really think I installed it correctly but it never stayed in place. Upon further investigation I noted different brands had the same problem (maytag, amana, ge). Because of poor design I have now called a serviceman.

Door was leaking
It was a 2 or 3 minute job. I grabbed the seal on the far right side of the door (it sticks out a centimeter or so), and pulled it out towards the inside of the dishwasher After that I ran folded paper towels from side to side in the slot until they came back clean. The first time I tried to slide the new one in it just dropped into the door. It turns out that on my dishwasher the slot that the seal goes into is a bit further back than what you can see from the top. I lined it up again, but this time I reached my fingers into the slot and held it up until it slid in. Even with dropping it in the door and fishing it back out I was done in 3 minutes or less. No more leaks

Dishwasher was leaking
This tip concerns the bottom door gasket. The information they missed in the installation video is that the slot that the gasket fits into is hidden. It is NOT the slot the technician initially lifts up on to insert the gasket. You really can't see it unless you take the front cover off the door. That's what I finally did to understand how the gasket fits in the door. As you insert the gasket be sure to keep it flat against the backside of the panel you are lifting up on, otherwise you will miss the slot altogether. Also, the way my gasket was shipped was a problem - it was sent in a small bubble pack and the gasket was sharply bent and kinked, making it almost impossible to install. Make sure it's flat and straight before trying to install.

Replacing Bottom Door Gasket
After reading the instructions. The old part came with the use of needle nose pliers very easily. Replacement was just as easy. I just lined up the part and made sure it went all the way in, and I was done. Didn't have to call a repair service to make the replacement and saved at least $100 or more with buying and installing the part myself. Will use this site in the future if needed. Very pleasant experience.

Dishwasher leaking from the bottom of the door
Bought tub rubber gasket and door gasket online. Neither came with instructions. I went to you tube and found videos that matched my model dishwasher. Only problem was the installation of the gasket for the door. it's plastic and the video said to put it in one way which I did but it did not work. There is a notch in the gasket and watching the video, as you're facing the dishwasher with the door open the notch goes to the right. Dishwasher still leaked. I reversed the gasket, with the notch to the left and that seemed to solve it.

The first bottom door gasket I received was defective.
After ordering the tub gasket and splash shields I ordered another lower door gasket. It was 1/16 of n inch to long but fixed the problem. Did spend a lot of money to get it fixed as called an expert who came over to the house.--Larry
